Sit at home will do more harm than good to the next generation of Igbo. Please listen. 1. It weakens the economy of the Igbo space and makes for disinvestment there. 2. It breeds insecurity as the enforcers seek to ensure compliance. Meanwhile the need to find food and get educated will push people to venture out into the open when they are supposed to sit at home. 3. The population will swell as more women get pregnant by men who can’t go to work and sit idle at home. 4. The school syllabus will suffer. 5. The military will be deployed to maintain a semblance of order in the society. Wisdom is the principal thing. Igbo listen please!

I understand your angle of seeing it. If sit at home is the only tool of protest we have we will maximize it. Remember we went to ghana to talk nigeria bridged the understanding then unleashed genocide on us. Our children where busy protesting they send pythons. Now mazi was cleared of all charges by the court they still kept him there illegally.

You can't beat a child and ask him never to cry.

I see your point my brother but it could be a good idea to get all the Federal legislators on across political divides on the same page in the matter. That way the common agenda can receive a lot more push for actualisation.

Why can't the government implicate Ekpa with his utterances at the Finnish government so then they can extradite him.

Release him for us and we'd make his judgment swift

Arresting Ekpa is not the solution. If you arrest him, I can ALMOST guarantee you that the criminal that will take over from him will be a 100 times worse.

when government starts beating/forcing people... then
we have a dictator. Freedoms have been compromised.
The very nature of Nigeria is actually beating and force.
The only good/organised times we had in Nigeria is when we were beaten by military (1966-1999)
and when we were forced by British colonial masters (1914 -1960)
I guess, we can just throw this democracy outside the window and receive our beatings from the
government before things will turn around.
Rwanda is a cool country. But they're not doing democracy there.

It’s always convenient for all these governors/ politicians to sit at one corner of the world and be typing rubbish.
They should collectively address the reason for the declaration of sit at home or are they abandoning one of their own to die in the hands of evil gate keepers just for wanting/demanding equality/equity for the Igbo’s.

@governors, excellencies and our regional politicians. Don’t just declare the end of sit at homes, demand the immediate release of MNK because that guy no kee person. Not like d sit at homes is sweet anymore, it hit’s us at an expensive price but na my brother dey unjustly incarcerated.
