This final address is mentally stimulating. There is a reason why Wole Olanipekun is the best lawyer in Nigeria when it comes to election matters.

That man is brilliant! The address tackled the petition from every angle possible: etymologically, logically and legally. The address, even for the case of argument, assumed some of the petitioners' arguments and still contests the legally and the logicality of those arguments.

Mehn , people are good in this country. I hope LP's lawyers will impress me too.

Oketupa is a clown, a twitter lawyer. He sounds more like an activist than a lawyer. According to the argument in the final address, which I also read in the electoral act, IREV is not the primary material for collation. More importantly, IREV is third in hierarchy and it's not even the last resort. In other words, the electoral act preempted the failure of IREV. The police copies are the documents of last resort for collation. So, if IREV failed totally, what happened to proving irregularities with the police copies?

I’ve wasted a lot of time explaining the part in bold to penguin2 and the other noisy obedients but they have all deliberately chosen to be blind and deaf to reality. The law clearly preempted the possible failure of IREV and made a lot of other alternatives to ensure results are collated and declared.
