CharitoJames: Is it possible to submit your passport after 30 days? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 12:15pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
CharitoJames: First I doubt he can submit his passport straight away without reaching out to ircc via mails and webforms first and getting their consent. What possible documents does he want to renew for a visit visa. Probably still trying to squeeze out some cash from the guy. This is what he should do. He should sent webform and mails to ircc using his application number and UCI and attaching a LOE explaining why he didn't submit his passport all this while and plead to be reissued a fresh passport request. This is my opinion as I haven't personally seen one with a case like this before. He should go ahead and apply for his study permit using a new Gckey acct. His new application will be linked with his old UCI used in visit visa application as long as the details he will fill in the immigration forms tallies with the previous ones he filled during the visit visa application. Ircc will automatically merge both info. I will advise he ditch the idea of traveling with visit visa with intention to apply for study visa from Canada. He stands a higher chance applying from Nigeria because of home ties. So since he is still in Nigeria, let him apply from Nigeria. He should still go ahead and reach out to ircc with regards to the passport submission request I stated above. If he cab successfully get his visit visa stamped, that shouldn't stop him from applying for the study visa in Nigeria. Remember both applications are independent of each other and he will also tell the VO in his study application that he plans to immediately leave Canada after his study. So it makes sense to still have his multiple visit visa stamped and valid. Goodluck to him. 2 Likes |

olujinmisamson1:Landed properties or real estate can go to proof of funds or client information depending on what you are trying to prove especially if you getting income from these assets..it can be merged with other doc @ POF Wedding pictures should go to client information.. To the bolded ,If you are trying to merge pdf documents and offline on PC ..i suggest you download pdf setup @ below link you can compress, merge pdf files including converting image to pdf etc, it is all in one combo https://www.pdfgear.com/download/pdf-reader-editor.htm 1 Like

ShowYoung: Thank you so much. Please see my answers below: Question 1 on POF as follows : (1) Land docs worth 23M ; (2) 37M cash ; (3) Car docs worth 1.5 and Jewelry worth 400k. Question 2 on Home ties : (1) Business incorporation documents, (2) Letter showing Leave from business , (3) letter of study leave received from office job ( I have a 9 to 5 as well) and (4) Parents and siblings (In hindsight, I realized the agent didnt submit the birth certificates of my parents & siblings, he just mentioned them in the SOP) Question 3 on Other documents Police certificate Admission letter for a full time Msc program showing program duration which is 2 years Proof of part payment of tuition (7900Cad out of total of 47000CAD) Completed biometrics I did NOT submit Medicals (not yet requested) Flight tickets 1 Like |

May06: When did you submit? Reason I asked is to know if you used the old or new rate. If you submitted after the new rate had come in place, then your pof is far from sufficient. You need about 63,100 cad which is about 36.6million. So give or take, you ought to have submitted pof of about 45m especially if you are a self sponsor. Hope It's Letter of Acceptance you submitted and not just admission letter?? |

Hello everyone . i will be 28 next year and i want to apply for a 1yr program in may. My question is Can i apply with 3 month's bank statement with a budget of 23m. i don't have much ties linking me to my country apart from my parent. And my business is e commerce and my family gave me part of the funds for it. no personal property Will the inflow of cash from my e commerce and a letter stating my family added to it be enough to convince them? The course i will like to study is tech related and different from my e commerce business. what are my chances of getting a visa? I will appreciate a response. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 3:25pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
nettato: Yes you can apply with 3 months SOA. The budget depends on your tuition but looking at it, it should cover for a 1 year program You just have to find convincing home ties for your application. The e commerce can be used in a way to show home ties. You would also have to find a way to relate the tech course to the e commerce business. Basically the SOP will do that. Your chances of getting visa approval just like for everyone lies in your SOP, pof, career progression, home and economic ties. |

Hi guys, If my partner is going for a certificate and I and our 1year old is not planning to go with her. But I plan to apply for a visit visa while my daughter has an American passport. Do we still need pof for 3 or just her? ( my partner) and secondly would it ben a problem that she is leaving behind her child for a certificate? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 3:43pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
yansky: You will still need a pof of 3k living expenses for your daughter even if she doesn't need visa to enter. US passport will not cover her bills. If it's a joint application, you will still need to show sufficient pof for yourself as well or rather more on your economic ties and what you do. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by ShowYoung: 3:46pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
May06: Usable POF is only 37m cash. Others fall under home ties. This is how much you needed. 1. Tuition fee $47,000. 2. Living expenses for applicant $20,000 ($10,000/yr). 3. Living expenses for spouse $8,000. 4. Living expenses for child $6,000. 5. Miscellaneous expenses $5000+. SUB TOTAL : $86,000. Tuition deposit ($7,900) TOTAL: $78,100 (NGN 46,860,000 if $1/600) if you submitted after June 16 or when the harmonized exchange rate was introduced, whichever comes early. Alternatively, if you had proven a means of financing your education through to the second year if you showed a continuous source of finance, POF of the first year might have been used for you. This is my thought and not a professional advice. Thanks. |

Good afternoon house. Last week I was offered admission at centennial college January intake for a 2 year diploma program. I’m expected to make a deposit of 2650CAD( out of 9600cad first semester tuition) before 24th July so as to hold my place and accept the offer until the fees due date(15th October 2023). After making the first payment of 2650CAD, can I proceed with visa application? Please is there anyone here that is going to centennial college? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by yansky(m): 4:12pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
zubizareta: Thanks for your response. If I show my properties and business back home and stay that’s why I’m not going with her and my daughter will be under my care, I’d still need pof for my daughter and I? Also, will me just applying for a visit visa be a strong proof of home ties for her or you advice I don’t apply at all. I just don’t want the VO thinking it’s unreasonable for her to leave her child behind, if not, I won’t include myself as I have no plans on joining her anytime soon. |

4368Agent:Yes you can proceed… why not pay the 1st semester fee to make your application stronger |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 5:14pm On Jul 16, 2023 |
yansky: Since you have no plan of joining anytime soon, let her apply alone. Ofcourse when she is traveling, she travels with your baby that doesn't need the visa to even enter in the first place so no need including her in the application. When you wife gets to Canada and becomes a legal status holder, she can invite you and you apply for your visit visa. With that, it will make your pof effectively used for only her application and also use you and your child has home ties |

Good evening everyone! I have been reading some posts here and its been so helpful. So here are my concerns,... I have BSc in Computer Science and currently I'm into business. However, I got an offer from CBBC College to study continuing care assistance, which is unrelated to my career. What are my chances of getting study permit if I go for this program or I need to go for something related to educational background and experience? Please I need someone to advise me on this. Thanks Kind regards |
