I want to understand something. Your bank statement is 8k CAD and you want to spend 5kCAD? Why do you want to travel with more than half the money you have in your bank statement?

How do you intend to manage yourself when you get back. Do you mean 18k or 8k bank statement to take 5k to canada.

General Info
I requested for 2 weeks vacation to visit family
Had bank statement of $8k CAD ,stated I will travel with 5k CAD for the 2 weeks, as every other cost will be covered by sibling( accomodation feeding etc during my visit.
My sibling in Canada who is a temporary resident invited me
I am not yet married
I work in a financial institution
provided reference letter from my organisation stating I work with them
Submitted SOP , stating I will return to continue my job which I love,Also stated I will be back to be with my retired parents

Can anyone advise on what would have resulted to these decisions.

Hello friends, I sent my passport, consent letter, passport data page, old passport bio data page since i got a new passport due to marriage. PPR letter. I did not add the Biometric letter nor did i write my name or email on the photocopy of my passport bio data page. My package was delivered yesterday to the lagos VFS office .

Question is- should I send another mail with the Biometric letter and my contact info? Or from peoples experience here the missing item ( Biometric Letter) is not a big deal? Will they get in touch with me to supply the missing document ?

I guess i am just worried I might exceed the 30 days passport submittal window given to me with all these back and forth.

I mistakenly indicated yes in my application that my wife and two kids will be traveling with me in Canada while there is no intention to take them along and my POF is 10million and I have submitted since two weeks now. Please will this affect my application negatively?

Thank you. Will request GCMS. I meant 8k in statement. 5k is what I intended travelling with just to hold , which may not be spent as its excludes flight ticket , feeding and accommodation.

I am not too sure why people are scared of Toronto Pearson Airpot POE?

That Airport is actually the best to come into Canada, you can be rest assured you will not be discriminated against as they have a lot of friendly blacks and Asians CBSA officers unlike the POE in Montreal, BC or even Alberta with white folks.

I personally don’t like Montreal because they speak French and French people are something else.

Anyways, best of luck to everyone coming in!

1 way courier from VFS have gone up to 31,160 effective July 14. But when I submitted it was 18,710 effective July 10. Today, I received a mail acknowledging the receipt of the package saying it was received today July 17th. Na wa for them sha. Let me wait and know if they will send me a mail to pay

My people I asked this question earlier but got no response. Make una epp me i beg. Has anyone here couriered their passport without the yellow slip or biometric letter? what should i expected? Passport returned with no stamp or it doesn't matter, they will stamp it either ways?

Just trying to prepare my mind.
