I received an email from VFS that I should submit my passport within 2 days. Do I need to book an appointment with VFS or I can just walk into the VFS office and submit my passport? I submitted my study application on the 12th of December 2022.

I will appreciate anyone's suggestion.
Hi, Congratulations.
Kindly share, which VFS location you submitted your application, and where you where asked to pick up from? I’m being asked to pick up from Vfs Abuja, what then was the dhl payment for?

Please is there anyone expressing difficulty using the e visa service ? Been struggling for days, it kept logging me out, and when I log back on my details are not been saved.

Kept doing it again and again.
Exhausting.

Two things could be happening, but let trouble shoot first.

When it is midnight , especially from 1am , tommorow, Apply again.
You may want to change network.

Been on it since last week too. Managed to save some of my data, but it's been unnecessarily stressful.

Do you not pay extra for VFS ?
I applied through DHA last time and it is stressful doing it again after refusal last week.

Thank you, I thought it was my internet connection, I had to use 2 different laptops, 2 different emails to sign up on each laptop to see but even up till now nothing works.

I even tried using my mobile, it will tell you service error contact bla bla and give a code silly codes.

And it was not like that upper week when I applied, but the rejection due to yellow card has brought me back to the bottom.

The DHA website is not responsive. You can’t save data, it keeps giving error messages - even when tried late or mid night. It’s the same challenge. VFS is a smoother process but at higher rate ($87).

Hi Guys,

Please I'm trying to apply for the South Africa eVisa and this is my first time. Please how can I book a flight without paying according to the breakdown I saw hunee drop when applying for the eVisa?

Struggling too.
I was on it from 1:am
Oops that is a lot from VFHs (family of 4)
I lost 100k to VFS appointment we couldn’t make it and it was non refundable and no new date was given as it was less than 48hrs.

But they don't even respond to emails

For anyone who was rejected and thinking of appeal don’t bother.
I just received an email from them after a week to see if I could appeal.
I knew re applying will be best.

I recently got my third SA visa.

Makes it my third time visiting SA in 3 months.

Applied same day, and got visa same day.

Via DHA

DHA is still most preferable.

I advise you all to take your time , be calm and study the processes on the portal before you begin.

Knowledge is power.

Most of the queries asked here are on the website.

Just go through them carefully and establish some contact too in the process..

I also want to say for those sending me mails on how to convert tourist visa to resident permit, please confirm from the query department.

One thing I do for sure is that I read alot and have been able to gather lots of information on visa processes which aids my application.

So , I encourage everyone to do same, it will help alot.

Goodluck guys.

Congratulations when did you apply ?
I did use the DHA to apply and I got rejected because the yellow cards are invalid which they are, and for a week now that DHA website is non responsive no matter how you try.
And I am even applying from England.
I used both wifi, and mobile internet, is still doesn’t work.

I applied 13th July, Got visa same day.

I applied on the 10th with no issue or whatsoever.
The application was rejected on the 12th.
The online problem started from the 14th until 2nights ago.

But I think it’s been rectified now as I was able to complete the application this morning with no hassle.

How much is the application fee via DHA?

Less than 20k in naira per person.

I used a GBP card to make payment for the previous one and I was charged around £74 for 4 people and that in naira is almost 75k so that divided by 4 is around 18k.

Can one pay with a Naira card?
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by hunee: 11:38am On Jul 20, 2023
Please confirm from your banker. I use foreign cards, so i cant answer. You may need a credit card from gtb, I also learnt wema naira cards can now process payments upto 500usd. So confirm from your bank.
