It's politics America , Europe and Jamaican Athletes are more protected... just like in every international sport

LOL...American athletes get into more trobule.

Ever wonder why the US was absent in last Olympics's men sprint events. Athletes like Chris Coleman, who would have been champion of 100 m men if he was there...were serving ban. (Add the disastrous changeover in the relays....).

Coleman was banned for missing drugs tests.

US athletes have served bans, and even been jailed for cheating on drug tests.

Shacarl Richalison missed the last world championships because of a ban for marijuana.

Violating The 3 Mandatory Whereabouts A Year Doping Tests

It's mandatory for elite athletes to state where they are or will be for three mandatory tests in a year, whether they are at Manhattan in New York or Oyingbo in Lagos, they've got to let the World Anti Doping Agency WADA know. Now, any violation of this leads to suspension. The Jamaicans tried to circumvent this some years back.

I shouldn't be saying this, but it's a hidden thing: no athlete is completely 'clean'

Amosun should have used some of those anabolics that WADA cannot trace. Those steroids that clear the system in two weeks.

I know what you saying...but even the underground ones come to the surface. Check out Marion Jones and Lance Armstrong. Two topline athletes...disgraced forever. And they were doing it underground for years. Till people started talking .

Sincerely, i am sure a lot of us does not understand what this information is. She was provisional banned not because she's involved with drugs or substances but every athletics were to submit theirselves to be tested in some period of time. All athletics were to provide all information using a social media with the athletic world body where they will be at all particular time and places. No matter the location after being informed of taking testing of antidoping for about three 3 times while missing those periods, an athlete could be suspended no matter you are. For congnisance, an American athlete was suspended for a year because of it recently I think his name Comman. He was an active athlete at present but a law is law and has to be followed.
Amusan still has an advantage to to appeal if not or found guilty without genuine excuses she will be suspended but not banned for using substances or drugs.

Not really. Why did she miss 3 tests in a year especially since she is aware there will be sanctions?

Or did she undertake other tests and only missed 3 in total? If so, what is the percentage of tests missed.

I said that there is a global conspiracy to deny Nigeria any sporting glory.

To the extent that when Tobi broke the world record in rthe semi-final I was expecting they would would use the fale start rule to disqualify her in the final and prevent her winning the gold medal.

Around June last year we had 3 great world class female sprinters who went on to join Tobi to win the commonwealth 4x100m relay gold, not surprisingly the took the relay gold from Nigeria by claiming that Grace Nwankwo failed a doping test.

Now tell me what motivation would Grace who is not a professional athlete but a collegiate (university) athlete risk her athletics career by cheating when her univeristy pays her for everytyhing. Her coaches were not investigate or suspended.

Our greatest (most talented ) world class elite athlete 20year old Favour Ofili who became the first Nigerian woman to run the 200 metres in under 22 seconds when breaking the collegiate record, was later in 2022 sabotage by her coaches at Luisiana state University, just before the NCAA champs 2022, where she was unexpectedly unable to win the title in neither the 100m (finished 5th) or the 200m , despite being a strong favourite for both titles.

Till today whatever they did to sabotage Favour Ofili remains unclear, but Favour has not recovered since and her perfomances have continued to decline, to the extent that she was not able to even qualify for the 200m final (the only event she entered) of this year's NCAA championships.

So they have destroyed all of Nigeria's greatest hopes for world and olympic glory . If you believe it is coincidence that within 2 years, we hace seen the demise of Blessing Okagbare (pb 10.79), Grace Nwankwo (pb 10.85ish) , Favour Ofili (PB 10.91 & 21.96) , Tobi Amusan (100mh World record holder 12.12) Devine Oduduru (2019 NCAA champ for 100m &200m pb 9.86 & 19.73) you must be unaware that the sport ruling body is very corrupt and vindictive.

Soon as she set that world record and won the world championship, she should have ensured she made herself available at all times.
Doping tests are not done in specific countries.
Your phone number, email is supposed to be available 247 because you are now a world champion.Even if you are at the airport about to travel once they call you either cancel your flight or report to the nearest sample collection centre at your destination.
For her sake, hope it's not her fault but missing 5 test dates looks suspicious.
Her excuse of also having been tested multiple times does not exonerate her actions. The whole idea of random scheduling is to catch athletes unawares because if they know fixed dates of blood collection, some of them can find ways of coming out dope free and then take the drugs when they know they won't be tested.

Simple sense!

Monkeys are screaming white conspiracy!

We are finished as a race. Many blacks need to be taken by other races and put back into slavery. Their brains are worth nothing and they don't deserve the same human rights.

Tenses:

They have started with their hate for African champion.

Litmus:
After she won, broke the world record and had Michael Johnson moaning and hinting she doped, I warned that this would happen. That they will find a way of depriving her of her medal. Some on here are talking of racism but they are only partially right. It is bigotry but specifically targeted at Nigerians because the black world tacitly or indirectly support racism against Nigerians. And Nigerians need to be weary about those that come here trying to get Nigerians to attack one another along Tribal lines. You don't know who anyone is that is online, don't fall for it, even if suddenly many are throwing around ethnic insults ( troll houses do this). Nigerians need to be more aware of current and unfolding world events to the minutest detail.

The white establishment does operate racist socio-political agendas and engineering. There is no set of black people that they like, any set of blacks that they can disadvantage and take out of the game, they will go for it. With Nigerians, they have ready support in the black world ( black crab mentality) , so they will isolate, attack and destroy Nigerians if possible.

Nigeria government need to work with the international organisations in sports, and look specifically at where urine and blood samples are sent for test. Athletics is my favourite sports I watch and keenly listen to the politics. Nigeria authorities need to also concern themselves with these out of competition tests routines.

I know Nigeria Governments, and to some extent people, are generally dismissive of the Greater importance of sports, even football, in the scheme of things. They underestimate it as a driver of National progress in terms of the economy and projection of power. But sports is what I would call social economics. It has massive power to unite and enrich Nations, which is why nations like America, Russia, China and so on pump billions into it.
