Despite the high percentage gotten by bayelsa on monthly basis( got almost 28billion naira Just for the month of Jan 2023), they remain one of the poorest state in the country.something is fundamentally wrong with the state.

Abia State oil production is unusually low. Even Imo State too. I hope they're not manipulating these figures.

Meanwhile, what happened to Lagos after all the noise? You guys think taping crude oil from West African pipeline will make you oil producing state.

Akwa Ibom spends so much on infrastructure and needs to start lifting its people out of poverty. Yes, infrastructure is good, but when you empower people, they can build their infrastructure.

BTW, what are Delta and Bayelsa States doing with all the money they receive? Despite all the allocations they receive, they cannot build decent capital cities. Money is good, but judicious use of money is more important.

The nine top oil producing states in Nigeria are:

Akwa Ibom- the largest oil producer with 31.4% (504,000 BPD)
Delta – 21.56% (346,000 BPD)
Rivers – 21.43% (344,000 BPD)
Bayelsa – 18.07% (290,000 BPD)
Ondo – 3.74% (60,000 BPD)
Lagos – 2.64% (40,000 BPD)
Edo – 2.06% (33,000 BPD)
Imo-1.06 % (17,000 BPD)
Abia-0.68% (11,000 BPD)

As you can see, even the South West is producing 4× for oil than the barren SE

So why una come dey fear to stay una own as a country

Why are you people begging for unity

With Rivers at 21% we’re good to go as a country

SE will get their Biafra and we will have our Niger Delta Republic

SouthEast still struggling to play catchup with the SouthWest even in oil derivation funds.

No wonder they constantly beg for unity with SouthSouth with the SE/SS assertion in most of their discussion.

Someone from a place where they give their mothers 500 Naira for giving birth is advising Akwa Ibom.
He is even advising Edo and Delta.
Businesses open on Mondays in Akwa Ibom but your own mother hides under the ground like cocoyam every monday.

Wetin Kanu no go see for Jubril hand grin

One thing I like about Igbos is that they have solutions to every problem and everyone's problems.

Everyone's problems except their own problems.

See as you disgraced yourself.

If Ondo oil is not enough to run your generator, then SouthEast oil is not enough to anoint your forehead.

Any day an Igbo man will rule this country, we shall know the true derivation level..Watch out as Tinubu adjusts Ondo and even include Lagos to overtake Edo and possibly Bayelsa state. Nigeria needs restructuring. You claim Lagos is the largest Economy in Africa, yet you hate to hear disintegration of Nigeria. Why can't you work for disintegration of this country according to Language and ancestry, so that you can have your Lagos State to yourselves? Why are you Afraid?
I want disintegration along ethnic lines. Igbos in Southeast, Igbos in South South, And in Benue, Kogi should be brought together to form a country.

Have you ever seen Ijaw complain about Yoruba taking their oil? No
That's because the oil in Ondo is in the Ilaje areas.

But Shibuke who is from a landlocked place where they tie their mothers on Mondays like native fowl is here crying on behalf of Ijaws.

Yet u can't compare Ondo state with Abia state in both infrastructure, road network, education, industry and sports.

There is a ditch opposite the govt house in AKURE.

Very disgraceful.

A visit will convince,as i just left there yesterday. It is a shame to say what u dont know.

The only state in the entire Yoruba land where u can see good development apart from Lagos is Illorin in kwara state kudos to Saraki.

Folawiyo operates the Aje oilfield that is the only producing field attributed to Lagos.

Lagos crude oil is offshore and mostly beyond the 200 nautical miles off the coast, so all of the oil revenue beyond this Exclusive Economic Zone accrues only to the federal government and not Lagos state. Only one of the wells for Folawiyo Aje field was reported to be within the 200 nautical miles zone, so some derivation should ordinarily accrue to Lagos state for that.
