Pls, I was captured end of last month and 4th July was what is on my slip as date of first appointment. One of my colleagues who we were employed and captured together along others, told us that the IPPIS guy told him that we should expect to receive salary this July. How true?
NB: It's a Fed Poly.

Well, it depends, some get their payment between 3-6 months of capturing, but since the other person is your colleague, and the IPPIS guy has informed him/her, believe am na, if it comes better, if it doesn't then put your mind within 3-6months.

But note that your salary starts counting on the day you assume office, ie your assumption of duty

Dssc or SSC?… if it is DSSC till next year but if it is SSC we are hoping they will recruit this year.

If he was given IPPIS confirmation slip he should check, which they put as his date of first appointment, if they put the month he was capture no arrears, but if they put different date before the capturing he will be paid but the arrears will take time

You can get army without connection, my friend was the last batch in service now, no connection, they considerd engineer and computer graduate more in there batch

Sometime it took one year.
See this circular some people were recruited since 2020, they are still waiting for arrears in my office.

If creation and payroll is done before 15th of July, you'll get salary.

Capturing is different from creation and payroll.

FAAC Shares N907.054 Billion June 2023 Revenue To FG, States And LGA

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared the sum of 907.054 billion naira June 2023 Federation Account Revenue to the Federal Government, States and Local Government Councils.


Naija News reports that this was contained in a communiqué issued at the end of the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting for July 2023.

The meeting was chaired by the Accountant General of the Federation, Dr. Oluwatoyin Madein.


The total distributable revenue comprised distributable statutory revenue of 301.501 billion Naira, distributable Value Added Tax (VAT) revenue of 273.225 billion Naira, Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) revenue of 11.436 billion Naira and Exchange Difference revenue of 320.892 billion Naira.

The balance in the Excess Crude Account (ECA) was 473,754.57 Dollars.


The communiqué stated that Gross statutory revenue of 1.153 trillion Naira was received for the month of June 2023, higher than the sum of 701.787 billion Naira received in the previous month by 451.134 billion Naira.

According to the communiqué signed by Bawa Mokwa Director (Press and Public Relations) office of the accountant general of the federation,Companies Income Tax (CIT) recorded tremendous increase in the month under review.

Import and Excise Duties, Value Added Tax (VAT), Oil and Gas Royalties increased significantly, while Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT) and Electronic Money Transfer Levy (EMTL) decreased considerably.

There's high tendency it will. Name and date of birth mismatch between your bank and IPPIS might bounce the salary back into CBN coffers until it is resolved and you reapply through your MDA. Check the FAQ page on the IPPIS website.
