The Project officer has a primary responsibility to assist in managing and supervising technical aspects of assigned projects from project award to completion. Project officer, under the guidance and supervision of Project Manager, will support in executing activities and completion of projects in the defined timeline.

Contractual Terms:
Location: Abuja, F.C.T.
Hours: Full time
Term: Long term
Reporting to: President
Pay: N68,000 a month

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying organizational and departmental policies, practices, standards, procedures, and requirements for the quality of the project
Assist in identifying the external standards and practices that the project must comply with
Collect requirements related to the quality of the project
Update changes to other documents and plans as a result of changes made during the plan quality process and balance quality with other constraints.
identify and apply for good fit grant.
Apply quality tools and techniques to create the output of quality processes
Assist in performing the quality assurance process.
Assist in controlling the quality of work on the project
Assist in developing a project scope statement
Assist in analyzing the information contained in the project charter
Prepare the required documentation for the scope of assigned projects
Create Work Breakdown dictionary for all projects
Validate project scope and deliverables produced during project execution
Perform M&E of project scope
Assist the project manager during project estimation (scope, schedule, cost)
Track project schedule to ensure operations are in line with a set structure

JOB REQUIREMENT
Proven experience in grant and proposal writing
1-2 years experience in a NGO sector
Project Managment certification is an added advantage.
