Okay if not phone since we say majority of students don't use phone at least they eat bread

How much is a loaf of bread or a plate of food in say Oyo

2. How many loaves of bread or plates of food is okay to pay for education towards being an Engineer or accountant

If they were not in school will they not eat? Were they supposed to keep the money they would have used to feed to pay school fees? cheesy

Na that specific ideology practiced by Dan Fodio still dey a bit close to the real Islam as practiced by Muhammad, its founder. Islam is all about total domination of everything.

Why do you think all practicing Muslims in the world put Qur'an above any other book? It's forbidden for a Muslim to put any other book above the Qur'an.

Why do you think that's so? Anyway, those Africans with a working brain don abandon Islam and embrace their local gods or reject all gods or God altogether.

Na dense people for Africa dey take a religion established by a pedophile and murderer seriously.
As a former Muslim I didn't expect this from you. It's quite insensitive and unprovoked.

I don't have a problem expressing your non beliefs, but when language like this is used in a public forum, for me it shows lack of sensitivity.

I am not in a position to determine whether it's true or not. Also I have no interest. So whatever he says is OK by me.

Thank you. It's deliberately provocative to other people's beliefs

We all have what we worship that don't make sense to the next person

How is that utterance now different from the Imam speaking against Isese festival? I grew up in the 90s when pentecostal Christians routinely attacked other faiths Traditional, moslems and even Christians of other denomination and even pentecostal of other mode of worship and it never sat well with me as I had uncles who were Catholics, Anglicans moslems and aunties who were tradionalists

Respect and tolerance is important

Don't quote me to type nonsense. I'm not here for silly debates. If you're not educated enough to know than an adult that married a toddler is what's called a pedophile, you're not worth my time.

It's okay for Muslims to call my ancestors such as Esu, Ogun demons daily, but calling an adult that married a toddler and murdered thousands of innocents to spread his religion a murderer is intolerant.

Africans are a funny lot. Just open any page of the Qur'an, before you read a couple of ayahs (verses), you'd see how pagans and their deities such as Esu, Sango, Ogun, Oya, and co are called the worst of names.

And you're talking about tolerance and respect. So, tolerance and respect only apply to Arabs and their traditional beliefs (Islam), not to Africans abi.

An adult that married a toddler is called a pedophile in modern times. Someone that killed thousands to spread his religion is known as a mass murderer in modern times.

Facts. Facts don't care about your emotions.

Today, Muslims in the North are still engaging in child marriage and killing for Allah following the footsteps of their 'noble' prophet.

If you want to preach tolerance and respect, start with the prophet of Islam and the Quran the Muslims believe in that commands them to follow the teaching of Muhammad, which many Muslims that engage in child marriage and extremism in the North and other parts of the world follow.

When you study the history of philosophy and science in Africa, you'd be shocked by the thousands of philosophers and potential scientists in this region killed by the Muslims for engaging in philosophy in their mother tongue, and not in Arabic as the Muslims wanted.

These murderers were only following the footsteps of Muhammad.

Over the past hundreds of years that Islam set foot in Africa, many philosophers on the continent β€” in ancient Egypt, Songhai, Maroc/present-day Morocco, Axum, and many others β€” were murdered by the Muslims because those Africans practiced philosophy in their native language and opposed the rule of the Arabs.

And some people here are talking about respect and tolerance for calling a spade a spade.

But he is indeed technically correct. The prophet did kill thousands of people and he was indeed a pedo. This is my grouse with religiosity.

If stating the truth is offensive and can provoke negative reactions, we do indeed have a problem. There is nothing that should be above criticism. Absolutely nothing!

Why do you have to be combative every single damn time you are replied to??

I don't know when last you and anybody here had any sort of decent conversation. If you don't seek to engage anyone in a conversation, then why bother dropping any post?

This is CHAT ROOM. Which means, you talk, I talk. But somehow once anyone replies any post of yours, the person should immediately expect very rude and harsh words from you. Haba mana! Have a look at yourself oo. No be fight everyday. If you notice, people barely reply you or read your posts because they know engaging you will be pointless.

Sorry.

Wait hold on.
Did I see 103 EndSars victims or na my eye dey pain me?
And larride and BlueRayDick as per una know people for LASG, is this real?? 😨

Hmmmm. Let’s wait for the Lagos state government’s official response to this , but I can easily guess what their response will be. They will probably claim the 103 victims consists of people who died Before , on and after October 20 2020 in relation to the protest all over the country .

The fact that the panel of inquiry was able to establish that soldiers took away bodies from the lekki toll gate is enough for any reasonable person to know the official figures of 3 at the toll gate is inaccurate and that there was deliberate attempt at cover up on the part of the government .

The problem of ENDSARS protests , the shooting and the violence that followed was that APC Supporters , Buharists, Tinubu supporters and Sanwoolu fans saw the protest as an attempt to discredit the ruling APC government instead of seeing it for what it is ; the people have been pushed to the wall and they are putting feet down saying β€œENOUGH IS ENOUGH ! , WE WON’T CONTINUE TO GET HARASSED, INTIMIDATED AND KILLED BY TERROR POLICE WHILE THE GOVERNMENT SIT AND FOLD ITS HANDS β€œ
Even people on this thread whom we gather watch the live video on that October 20 2020 night on Chelsea thread , some of them that condemned the shooting that night have turned back to defend the government cos of political affiliation . Smh

The good thing is today u can drive around town without some mean-looking daredevil gun wielding men double crossing u with an unmarked vehicle not only harassing u, but also extorting u once they go through ur phone and see ur account balance .

I’m glad the protests drove home a very important message to the leaders that they are not save when yawa gas finish . Not even their loved ones.
