Kaycipher:Bro, you should seek professional legal advice. You shouldn't expect to get the best advice on this subject on nairaland. Everyone will just say their opinion and move on, whereas ultimately it's your application and whatever happens is in your own hands. If your ex-spouse comes out tomorrow to claim that you guys were married, what would you do? Refer back to the people on NL who were offering you advice? Religious institutions are as much an authority on marriage as are courts in Nigeria. If you were married at a religious institution, I'd like to believe you were concretely married. But then, that's only my opinion. Only a lawyer can tell you exactly what obtains and that professional advice is what you should seek. Don't be in a hurry to fill up an application that may backfire. Ensure your i's are properly dotted and your t's effectively crossed. 3 Likes |

Hello Guys, Please do I need to highlight the different job titles in the same company or just one row is okay in the work details section Pre-ITA i.e Start date and I currently work there with my current job title in the same company? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by braine(m): 12:35am On Jul 25, 2023 |
Addi: If they are all in the same NOC in the same company, you can use the the most recent title and then the duration of all the titles i.e start to current, when filling the work experience you are claiming points for. Then, in your reference letter, you will need to outline the start and promotion/end date of each title. This worked for me. However, if the roles are in different NOCs, you'll need to separate the job titles in your application and also include the different job duties for each title held in your reference letter. 1 Like 1 Share |

Good morning all. Please I want to know if it’s possible to take the TCF or TEF exam without having any basic knowledge of French. Can I just take classes to prepare myself for the exam or I must really have in-depth knowledge of the language? |

Konyinsolah:Omo see what IRCC has caused lmaoooo. Since these French draws started, I’ve seen more than 50 types of these questions. Anyways no. You must have an in-depth knowledge to succeed in this exam 6 Likes |

Hello House, I’d greatly appreciate some advice on a challenge I’m currently facing. We’re in the process of putting together our application post ITA and we realized that my husband’s occupation on our marriage certificate is different from his actual profession(the two professions are somewhat similar but not exactly the same, especially in terms of the NOCs they fall under.) We honestly don’t know how such a mistake was made and only realized it when we were putting our documents together post ITA. Please note that I’m the principal applicant so it doesn’t affect our scores or anything. I’m just concerned because I don’t want any inconsistencies in our application. We’re trying to see if we can correct it with the Marriage Registry but I don’t know how long it will take and I don’t want it to delay our application given that we have a deadline. I’d appreciate some input from the gurus or anyone who has experienced something similar. Thanks |

Good afternoon all. Please I need some clarification as regards documents required for EE application. If one has OND, HND, PGD & MBA will it be only the MBA that will be evaluated by WES and when filling the option in the FSW for education will I select the option of 2 or more degrees. 2. Please does past refusals have a negative effect on ones application? We tried a SP, SOWP route and was denied before. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Afolavid: 2:48pm On Jul 25, 2023 |
Bernice123456: 1. Yes, you only evaluate MBA since it's the highest educational qualification. No, MBA is equivalent to Masters Degree, so you select Masters, not 2 or more certificates, which gives even more points. 2. No, it doesn't. Those are Temporary resident applications while EE is a Permanent resident application. However, make sure you declare your refusals when asked. |

Afolavid: Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate. Please in which case can one declare 2 or more certificates? My HND n MBA are not 2 certificates |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ayinke93(f): 3:53pm On Jul 25, 2023 |
Bernice123456: Your MBA alone carries more points than two or more certificates. So you are good. HND gives two or more certificates when evaluated with an OND and BSC holders can get two or more certificates by getting an extra certification e.g ACCA, BCS and co |

Hi guys, please I need your input. My sister is waiting for her TCF result to submit her profile for PR. Every other document is ready. But the problem is she has 10m in a 3months old globus account (fixed- cannot be moved) and 6m in her 1st bank account (very old account). I know the rule is to submit a 6 months account statement. Can this fly? |
