SMH, how? No be everything be Lamba. Chief If not for anonymity sake I for post details and receipt of the coy that provide this service for me. There are a few coys doing this and people who need there services will pay...

Call this company ask them how much they will charge you to provide executive assistant/carer per month for your 85yrs parent; this is not the one I am using, and I will delete their details after few minutes to protect their business since its seems we are okk that the richest of us brag about paying 60k to their domestic staff as wages.

We need to demand better, I remember ages ago when Bob Diamond was at Barclays and they had to increase wages for cleaners as the papers where ridiculing his pay packets in comparison to the cleaners, there is something called libing wages bro... and that 30k minimum wage is a joke..

Abi you think Oga Dayo/Ibime or Nihilist will come out and brag if they have domestic staff in Nigeria that they are being paid N60k?

Let those working for average Joe's collect average wages, whilst our big men pay premium.
You would be shocked that company you're paying to is paying the cleaners exactly that 60k if not less sef.

I agree it's not what Oshiomhole should brag about but at the end of the day na him dey pay am no be me.

It's always easier to critique when you have no skin on the game

Let's not judge the past with the standard of today. Some historians will tell you Mary was about 12 to 15 when God inserted Jesus inside her.
Go and preach to the millions of Muslims that still lead their lives in modern times based on the standards of the archaic past as contained in Qur'an. You're barking the wrong tree.

Today, many of them engage in religious violence and child marriage following the practices of their 'noble' prophet, 'the best of mankind'.

Was Buhari economic policies not modeled after China, Signapore protectionist model?

The truth is that most of you dont know what you want, that's why its easy to swing like a pendulum. Tinubu is doing everything you guys said Buhari should've done, now you are complaining and want to go back to Buhari protectionist model. grin

Its either you want a free market or not. No two ways to go about it.

Just paying the true market price for fuel now for 2 months, we now remember we are a poor country. grin

Make Tinubu follow una advise and remove those 43 fx restrictions items so we can import everything importance and see how fast the remaining manufacturing and local industries will pack up.

Yes because a country that has always been import dependent will not automatically turn into manufacturing giant overnight without having to go through stringent measures.

When Buhari closed the border and initiated fx restrictions on those 43 items and price of things began to soar, no be shout una dey shout? You want cheap things when you dont produce anything.

Let's close our borders for just 10yrs and use it to aggressively support our local industries and see how far things will change.

You cant be a socialist in nature and be craving for a capitalist economy.

The same thing I said here before was the same thing CBN said yesterday. The market is still experiencing supply issue which is expected, supply issue is what is making the market volatile at the moment, with more supply into the market, the market will stable.

Some of us know these things as we follow economics trends, we dont want for our influencers to give us talking points.

Remove subsidy on fuel
Unification of the exchange rates. No more official rates.

Make everybody go source their fx from the I & E window or anywhere they like.

Tell me how the local production was able to even meet any demand?
Tell me how the country also battled corruption too to plug leakages like China did?
How was the country showing progress with our generation of FX in strengthening our currency?
Just these 3 things alone.. How did buhari handle the implementation of them? To announce ban is the easiest part of what he did.

The CBN is also saying they are not in the business of unifying the black market and IE because till now there is still FX deficit.

You expect local production to just begin to meet demand in how many years in a country of over 200m?

Dey play.

Dont worry Tinubu will soon remove fx restriction on the banned list, make we continue our importation dey go.

Na CBN create black market? Do you even know the meaning of black market?

I & E window is the only official window where you can source for $$$ not before that we have several windows like official rates, I & E window and the likes.

What the govt did was unified all the rates into the I & E window for every transactions including govt transactions.

As more people access fx liquidity in the I & E window, they won't patronize the black market anymore. The black market thrives because people cant access fx from the govt window.

It's a simple sturvs
