I think the VO is leveraging on your job which you might have pushed its significance very much during her application. I will suggest you put your response in an emotional way to explain that your the family being apart will be detrimental to your wellbeing, that you had thought that the time apart will not cause problems, but you have realized that it a source of concern.

For the second part I will suggest you state that the wellbeing and happiness of your family is paramount to you and since you have the POF to take care yourselves already, then leaving the job in UK was not difficult, and that staying to do the job in UK without being happy will not help you, and that coming to Canada to work temporarily will be more fulfilling since you will be around your loved ones.

Not that officer dey discouraged you from moving there from the UK,

I sense that the officer imagine that why do you want to leave your job (highly skilled) in the UK and move to Canada and begin to search for a job while you already had a job doing in the UK?

What you suppose to apply for is a visitor visa, so it will look as if you would be visiting your wife not moving there through (SOWP)

You can flagpole with your visitor visa to SOWP I did mean you have knew this before.

You need to write a convincing letter bro.

Thanks boss, very similar to how I drafted the responses same yesterday.

For the first, I said we underestimated the impact of staying apart as a family and had to do a reassessment of our decision...etc

For the second, because the VO wants me to demonstrate "the rationale for leaving a professional job for a menial job" in the event that I don't land a SIMILAR professional job easily, I said in my response that I am in talk with my HR for a transfer to one of our offices in Toronto, Canada (i provided evidence) and also provided email correspondences of two interviews I am having with two similar companies, one based in Toronto and the other in Vancouver as a contingency plan, in case the transfer fails. Further went ahead to say that if I eventual get an offer from any of the companies I am interviewing with, I would not be able to resume until I provide my right to work, and my HR will move things forward if I provide them with my open work permit. Then added a last line, saying while I love my job, my family is more important to me etc.

I just got a correspondence letter now. I am not sure if that is good or bad sign. What does that mean?

Good point but I have heard instances where they refuse spouses who applied for Visitor's Visa when they should be applying for SOWP regardless.

This is my little insight phamoxy,

1 How much do you earn as income to accumulated 17m plus as your opening balance ?

2. You said your opening balance is 17m and the closing balance is 19m + from the gcm note you attached, how many month bank statement do you submitted? Because is just 2m+ income added to the opening balance of 17m+ that making your closing balance 19m+

3. What is your income and how many months bank statement do you submitted? Because if you read your note very well they said there is limited evidence pertaining to the source on stated funds ?

If you can provide like 1 yrs bank statement to justify how you accumulated 17m as your opening balance? Do you used this bank account to received lumps sum money from sales of any properties or whatever?

4. The 2m + that added with your opening balance to make your closing balance of 19m+ as justify from your income to determine if 17m+ is acquired from your income?

Solution I will suggest is that you should present 1 yrs or more to proof how you raised the 17m+ as your opening balance, if there's any payments that accumulated the funds in your account you need to show the proof with documents to back it up .

Your payslips can only justify if your income within period you added 2m+ that making your closing balance of 19m+ corelate with your earning,

For example if you are earning 500k monthly in 4 month that would be 2m, meaning that you submitted only 4 month bank statement with opening balance of 17m+?

Or let say you are earning less than 500k how do you accumulated 17m+ with income less than 500k monthly ?

Note: They believe you will have a monthly expenses and what left after your monthly expenditures?

Please you need to work on your bank statement to see if there's any lumps sum in your account, and try to explain if there's any lumps sum with evidence.

I love your well detailed explanation . Keep it up

Please, I need a response.

Both are okay, But if your transactions are much that will make normal statement run into many pages then, it's better to do MBS to reduce how much you will need to compress your documents to take care of the 4mb limit.

So on one can really choose a course for you, as it is now you can look for course related to Mechanical Engineering or what you do presently. The work will be explaining it in your SOP. At the end you also need to be genuinely interested in the course to do well in it when you get to Canada.

Alright tank u chief
