Obviously, senators don't want peace for Nigeria. The earlier Kanu is released, the better for SE security and Nigeria in general.

Guy, releasing Kanu on the ground of protesting by sit at home order is bad for the country. I also support that government should obey court order but if what those senator cited is the reasons they want him to be released, it’s not a good reason at all.

Do they mean a group of people can be intimidating the whole Country by declaring sit at home. The first mistake Nigeria made that encourage all kind of insurgence problem we have in the country is bowing for Niger Delta militant during YarAdua by creating ministry for them. Almost every region have one way or the other of terrorizing the country and listing their demand for government if it want them to stop. BOKO Haram and Bandit are requesting for amnesty, like wise IPOB, if they succeed, Yoruba Nation will start their own, even Agbero.

I was reading to see the reason for their rejection and it wasn't stated.

Sometimes something is so foolish one needs not waste time giving reasons……just like Obi’s petition that Tinubu’s lawyer spent only 1 witness and one day to reply.

Even in America
Presidents may react to Supreme Court decisions by supporting or opposing them in their public rhetoric and by calling on Congress to take action to alter or implement the Court’s decisions. We investigate this unique form of lawmaking using an original database of presidential calls to Congress and congressional reactions. We find that presidents call for congressional action to pursue their policy goals and enhance the power of the presidency; we also find that Congress reacts when it is asked to do so by both the Court and the president, as well as when presidents support the implementation of the Court’s decisions.

The Supreme Court only follows the Law

The Senate just made a Law

Kanu Cannot be released

No Court can overule it

FG is now legally free to hold Kanu in Jail forever

You see this problem in the SE? Na una go solve an yourself. The rest of Nigeria has washed its hands of SE and their wahala. Your emotional blackmail won’t work. When you are tired of killings, cannibalism, no jobs, no investment, sit at home, nobody will borrow you people the sense you need to end it.

…and while you are waiting to reset your brains, we will never make you president of the same country you support someone fighting for secession from.

See this mumu, like the economy isn't affecting everybody. Who your stupid presidency help? What a wretched fellow

This rubbish has to really stop, there should be discipline for lawlessness.
After ordering the killing of people on camera, people are saying they should release him.
I don't understand the type of people in this country.
I really tire for Nigerians, but they will be willing to kill an arm robber that stole bread, but will release someone that gave orders for to kill people.

I am tired of Nigerians, anyone demanding for his release should be arrested.
We are not a lawless nation.

So Dora Akunyili husband and others should die for nothing, after all the suffer the wife went through, to make sure they stopped selling fake drugs, Nigeria want to pay her by releasing killers of her husband?
God forbid,
You people are very very wicked,
There must be justice

If the government can't respect rulings from the court, why should ordinary citizens do so? The court has granted kanu bail, what is the government waiting for?

Ok, I've heard you. You may want to refresh your understanding of the difference between a bill/motion and a constitution.

Also be mindful that the Senate cannot make a law that will impinge on the constitution. Hence they need first amend the constitution itself.

Who carry KANU matter enter house of senate where serious legislative business is done?

Who is KANU please.

Which one is south east again?

They should go and meet peter obi for whatever request they need.

That is their President.

Until they reclaim their stolen manhood in biafla court, nobody should bother us with sit-in-hell matter.

Enjoy it please.

You are even sounding like a lawyer while still sounding ignorant, you said the trail is over but presented a logic that he was illegally incarcerated where would you prove that? In a court of competent jurisdiction right, so far you hold a man against his will, there is room for trial or freedom but if the person holding doesn't want to free the captive such person or institution should be tried, don't be halve educated.
