The Deafening Silence Of France Over Niger Coup by allthingsgood: 6:38am On Jul 27, 2023 |
The defeaning silence of Paris which controls all the French speaking west African countries is alarming. Few days ago the Presidential guard in Niger shockingly took over the government through military coup. Yet France has remained silent. You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you they may have hands in the coup. It appears like France does not want to let go of it’s noose over the necks of African leaders. They often have hand in coups and terror attacks in Africa. 2 Likes

obedience4: You obviously don’t know what you are talking about. You seem very confused, not knowing the difference between influence and control. US can never control UK by any stretch of the imagination. US has wide influence over many countries especially when their interests align. And also your derogatory comment about being a young dude is unnecessary. Grow up. |

France doesn't care anymore at least not as much as they used to. They have been revamping their approach to Africa as of recently and withdrawing military personnel slowly but steadily due to sino-russian interest in the continent but it seems too late unfortunately. |
