Please help me out with clarification. Since during visa application, banks are contacted to confirm or verify the authenticity of the POF/SOA by visa officer. My bank statement for POF I generated from my phone app doesn't bear any bank email address or phone number of the bank on my bank statement of account which is from my GLOBUS Bank. Do visa offers have other official means of reaching or contacting banks when the need arises or for confirmation and verification without depending on email address or phone number on my SOA/POF? Because mine doesn't bear any email address or phone number.

I also used Globus, but I made sure I requested for my SOA via email from the bank. It was signed, stamped and contains contact details. I will advise you to do same to avoid issues.

thanks a lot. I requested my own SOA through my globus phone app, immediately it was sent to my email. But did you request yours through email, not through phone app. And how long did it take them to respond to you.

Has anyone used a fidelity bank statement generated on mobile app ? I noticed it contains only phone number with no bank email address, should I go ahead and use it?

The ones I have been printing from their branch isn't clear enough you will hardly see the figure on closing balance

To avoid confusion, the Mother should move the money to her daughter's account. It simplifies everything.

How can one prove source of fund if requested.. nother surname in bank is different from the one on birth certificate

My employment letter shows my salary and benefits, Which is around 500Gbp. I get free accommodation and transportation and Its tax free. Will this suffice if I provide it as evidence of study gap? P: S been working for over 6 years and saved up.

My ward just finished a one year foundation course in UK. He has gained admission into (another) university for his undergraduate studies. Having been in the UK for the last 1year, the (new) university did not request for TB test during the CAS interview/documentation (they said he doesnt need it).

1. Please how long is a TB test valid for? (He did one last year before he went for his foundation program)
2. Does he need to do another TB test for this new visa application? (He returned to Nigeria last week and is planning to return to UK for his undergraduate studies this september)

Paid mail isn't helping matters. Those lazy guys keeping referring me to A.R department.

Meanwhile alot of people are suggesting that it's best to begin another application considering the time it takes for A.R to be concluded, do you think it's best that I reapply?

I'm also considering discussing with the school to help follow-up but does the school have the authority to hasten up A.R decisions? Its mentally draining and frustrating.

Both parents should either be applying together or one should already have a visa/permit

The ECO will request for evidence to show that 1 the MA is the sole surviving parent or 2. Has sole parental responsibility given by the court or 3. Compelling reasons why the application should be granted in the absence of the second parent

Waiting for a passport is not a compelling reason

2. Passport renewal takes time even when assurances have been given


The children should apply same time with their mother

Also remember POF is for their use in the UK

The contact centre can be quite annoying. When you are referred to AR what response do you get??

Your Uni's follow up can help apply some pressure

If you do decided to reapply, your AR will be automatically discontinued

1. Tb test is valid for 6months so should be expired by now

2. If he spends less than 6months in Nigeria he won't need it

3. He needs to address that in a cover letter and cite the dates he returned home and the guidance so the ECO sees that
