First of all, you all might be aware of the coups currently happening around Nigeria by Francophone countries, non of it all is a coincidence.
But some of you might know that some group of East African countries are planning on a unified single country which when successful will be the biggest country in Africa in all spheres.
You might not also have noticed that many African countries, except Nigeria, are becoming aggressively Afrocentric, PanAfrican, not a coincidence also.
From East, Central, Southern, Western countries in Africa there are some sorts of awakening which a majority may not see even as it literally unfolds. I know from the onset where Tinubu will align immediately he gets the Presidential position, I also know that the country supports him because it needs him badly as a tool for their agenda.

That country is France. France, like many European countries, are in a fast and speedy decline, and they know it, that's why the French President Macron can shamelessly apply to join BRICS, knowing fully well that it was made to counter Western nations and is founded by some of the most anti-West and anti-USA. But the President Macron, as you may notice, is one of the most active and even well calculative and intelligent leader in Europe as of now. That man is everywhere!

When Tinubu was quickly mentioned as the ECOWAS President I wasn't surprised, when he quickly declared "we will not tolerate anymore coups in West Africa" I was also not surprised because he is only reading the script handed to him by those who put him there, for obvious reasons. As Mali has pushed to end French as its most official language it wasn't also a surprise to me. The coup in Niger Republic is long overdue and expected if you have the eyes to see happenings.

Does anything make sense to you already?

If not let me remind you that President Olusegun Obasanjo just declared Nigeria has failed and has not met expectations in Africa. He is very right! Nigeria used to be the most PanAfrican, the most Afrocentric, the most forward and proudest of Black people. People used to look up to Nigeria, used to. Those are old and almost long gone now!

As Nigeria, its people with Tinubu at the front line continue to make Nigeria a new colony of the French, as the Nigeria continue in utter ignorance and spite for one another and their neighboring opposing "tribes", as we continue in our misplaced and laughable sense of false superiority, African countries are speedily, gradually and surely getting their acts together and leaving us way far behind.

We have become so pitiable that the only time you see and hear someone compare Nigeria with other African countries, far smaller and even non oil producing countries, is when who is worst, who suffers most, who is having it more bad. Not who is getting better, who is actually growing and making progress, which is where eyes of normal people is mostly concentrated on. Are you going up or looking to come low, last, down, under and below?

We are deceiving ourselves as we continue to hold on to past and lost glory of the delusion of being "Giant Of Africa"! But giant in what really, Mr suffer head?!

From:

Mali
Guinea
Chad

There was coup in Burkina faso as well...

Right! But Nigeria can't easily suffer coup based on the fact that military commanders are appointed by the sitting president.

I read a heavily mocking and gaslighting post on front page by a clown comparing Nigerian standard of living with Ghana. Guess what?! That delusional clown is not in Nigeria and has not been for almost a whooping decade! You heard right.

All the fool knows is what he reads online. This is who Nairaland has elevated to their very own political and social commentator.

Nigeria with its selfish and one sided system of governance will never attain it's true potential and reclaim its rightful place as the leader of Africa.
We have the best human resources in the entire world, our people are the most reliable, innovative, resilient and hard working on the planet, but greed amongst those in the upper circles will never give anyone the chance to shine except you get lucky and find your own part by yourself.

You think those appointed are the one that carry out the coup, remember that those countries where coup were carried out, the head of the military were appointed by thesame president that was stepped down by the coup plotters. All the coup plotters has to do is to get the support of their fellow military by promising them a better life with that and strategy on how to gain control of the government house, the rest becomes history.

Wisdom means just do for your people what needs to be done.

All this invitations to France, Rome and Russia is not a coincidence the scavengers want to hear Baba and for now he is choosing to listen.

May God continue to give him and all of us the wisdom to know when to talk and when to listen.

OBJ that went about saying Nigeria is a failed state is a very stupid man.
In my view this country hasn't done badly at all, for a country that started democracy in 1999. I wasn't born in the 70s but I know what this county was in the late 80s and 90s.
Yes we have our own problems but take it from me , the challenge we have is more or patriotism than anything you think.
Re: Secret Things Happening Now Around Africa No One's Telling Nigerians by anungangampu: 9:43am On Jul 28, 2023
The problem of Nigeria is we are not self aware. Most haven't traveled around Nigeria to see the real Nigeria they are in, they stay in Cities to judge the rest of the country.
I don't think any serious person or nation will ever become better if they are not self aware. Terrorism is gradually becoming a household name in the country and a political thing. There are a lot of indices that stir us towards being a failed state than being a developed state. I swear most saying Nigeria is moving in the right direction stay in Lagos or Abuja which is just a state of barely 30million Nigerians. What about the rest 100-150million.
That's the problem with our dear country.
We underestimate how tribal, corrupt and religious sentiment are affecting us.
