ednut1:. I have my EE application submitted some months back. Do you mean that any director positions I hold should also be included at this stage even though the businesses are not running? |

ednut1:Sale of land. But by the time she want to print the account, she wouldn't be showing the day the money dropped. If she is to show it, it would be a 4 months statement of account. The description was clearly written sales of land. Please what documents should she show for the sales of that land? |

Ayinke93: Good morning everyone. Please for BSc holders that needs to get an extra certification to qualify for two or more certificates, must be BSc and the other certificates be sent to WES at the same time for evaluation? If No, will another payment be made for evaluation of the other certificate on WES if the certificate is not ready yet and one intends to evaluate the BSc certificate first. |

Tegnaworld23:Yes you must contact ircc to change your school. Check online for the instructions. If you don’t, your current school will continue to report you to IRCC as absent and then IRCC would assume you’re non complaint with your study permit conditions 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Good people, I'm in the US on student visa. Can I apply for FSW and have biometrics and medical test done in the US without having to go back to Nigeria? 1 Like |

Please has anyone here gotten an ADR for schedule A. (IMM 5669). Where do I get the form and how do I fill it? With paper and pen? Or I can fill online with adobe fill & sign or similar apps? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by ZeeAngelus: 2:57am On Jul 28, 2023 |
Jenykech:It's common for applicants to receive a request for IMM5669 Schedule A Background/Declaration form. Be careful when you resubmit, because at this stage,IRCC may have found something, so they are trying to ensure that there are no gaps in your personal history and/or for IRCC to reconfirm the information you submitted 1 Like |

littyprincess:Lol Canada has become one unpredictable entity. Before covid we were sure of draws every two weeks. I met a lady that entered Canada via express entry with a score of 435 in 2018. Now even 481 (maxed IELTS, under 30, MSc and 3+ years foreign work experience )struggling to get ITA. Last last first mover advantage is the easiest. The amount of money people are spending on this canada matter now is funny because people spent just a fraction in 2019/2020 and some of them are citizens already. Visa mining colleges are propping up sponsoring study visas in exchange for thousands of dollars annually and at the end lots of people will get into the pool with high scores. I reconnected with my good old friend and former classmate who spent about 10 years in USA (Bsc, Msc, MBA, Phd) but wasnt able to get permanent residency hence opted to move to Canada to study. Now at a college in Ontario studying for a two year diploma with the hope of getting a 3 year work permit and joining the pool after working for a year or two. Canada movement is draining cash. The day I paid CAD1,300 for my express entry visa application fee I was very angry because I felt it was too expensive and Naira/Cad was almost 400 . But now that I've spent over a year in Canada and seen people sell their house/cars to fund this Canada study movement I just thank God quietly. 6 Likes |

So10:As most PR applications are processed in Canada some of our unstructured financial practices may be strange to some of these visa officers. The best way to go around it is to build our account in the year preceding your application date such that you can have an average 6-month balance above the threshold. For gift deed your application is stronger if its coming directly from your parents 1 Like |

Samuelobiora19:Please consider using the land as a collateral to raise liquid cash. Life is a continuum and I discourage as many people as I can from giving up their hardwork for Canada. You can move/transition into Canada without losing any of your assets. It is very possible today. The naira is weak at the moment and the canadian economy will drain your naira very easily |

Tegnaworld23: Check the permissions and restrictions on your study permit. Also consult a licensed immigration lawyer. The good ones charge between $100-$150 for consultation 1 Like |

tshtsh:Looking like you don tey for abroad. Who will lend you money using house as collateral? It is not that easy, the process of perfecting that loan is prohibitive, better to sell if one is sure of leaving. Later in life one can always buy a new property if the zeal still exists. 3 Likes |

Jenykech: Print and fill the form by hand OR fill online and print. Either way, you need to sign your signature by hand, scan and update in the placeholder. Go back to your application to get the exact data (education dates, address etc) you filled at AOR, details of how to do this on page 1 post 6. |

Enculer2:I got a job in my field before landing, slept on my friend’s sofa for 2 weeks and 4 days. Moved to air bnb the day I received my first pay. Landed with USD4,000 from PTA exchanged at 417. Hi everyone, please does anyone here know how to get a job as a laboratory assistant or microbiologist in Canada from Nigeria. I have over 4 years of experience and would like to relocate to Canada. I would appreciate any info I can get, pls. Thanks |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by tshtsh: 12:43pm On Jul 28, 2023 |
Profgordons:Not really. Was in Nigeria last month and was also in Nigeria in December. My suggestion is based on differences between both societies. Spending naira in Canada (after changing to CAD) places one at a loss because of how weak the naira is. And 20M is about CAD30,000 . Rent in Toronto alone can take CAD25,000 whereas with a land you can become a home owner more easily. It’s Canada that made me value landed properties even more because housing issue is a big issue among many Canadians. Easiest and cheapest funds in Nigeria can be from friends/family. In the absence of that if you have a job/regular income zedvance, renmoney… are options to raise money. 3 Likes |

Good afternoon, Quick one please. Maybe this might not be serious but then I'm an over-thinker so I feel I should share I had resumed a new job (Job B) in the past while I was still working with my former employer (Job A). Though I had informed the previous job (job A) that I would be leaving the company, so I had forwarded a notice to them, then I resumed job B same time. The resumption date for the new job (job B) is reading January for instance, then the former job (Job A) ending date is reading February for instance. Is this allowed? Can one fill the EE form this way or how can one go about this without shooting oneself in the leg. I understand that IRCC is not an employer but then, would this mean anything when a potential employer finds out through back.ground ch.eck that the starting date of a new job is behind the ending date of the former job? Your contribution is appreciated please, and abeg don't blame me, na the country dey cause am sometimes God bless you as you contribute |
