I recall that I only submit my bank statements without submitting references letters from my bank. I don’t know if that make them think like that. The VO gives you 15 days to prove that the docs are not fradulents . Is your statement stamped and signed?

I understand I don’t submit references letters from my bank. I plan to go to my bank and print new statements and references letter addressing to the Canada immigration

1. Request for a stamped and signed statement of account
2. Request for Reference letter addressed to Canada...
3. Request for mybankstatements to be sent directly to Canada embassy (the bank will give you a print out with user ID and Pin)
4. Request for statement of balance from the bank addressed to Canada stating clearly your account details and the balance as at today.

I'm sure 3 and 4 would make them believe it's real.

Go to the bank and request for "mybankstatement" which should be sent directly to the Canadian embassy...I hope that helps.
You can also write a letter of Explanation stating that all the funds are yours and not borrowed

If u made any lump payment into the account...you have to explain the source with adequate receipts to show that its not borrowed funds.

Please did you collect stamped passport in person? Tracker says it has been returned to Abuja VAC since 21st of July.
I also paid for courier to be returned to Lagos and sent evidence of payment and they have not returned my passport to me.
I also chatted to them in the Livechat, response was "your case has been forwarded to the processing team", which i find vague.
Can i send someone in Abuja to collect it on behalf ?

Firstly, who is their courier partner?

Also, I tried tracking on DHL website using the tracking ID given (the same one used to track progress on VFS site) and it was unrecognized by DHL.

I don't know about Abuja but here in Lagos if you send someone to pick on your behalf they won't give the person only spouses and courier service can do that on someone behalf.

Yes, that is called mybankstatements. I believe you should have a placeholder on your profile to upload/submit the document for explanation. If you have just one place holder to upload your explanation, merge all the document as one pdf and upload.

Don't bother yourself you can submit traditional bank statement i.e go to your bank to help you print out the bank statement and stamp (seamless and verified)

MBS bank statement : is the new system many bank used to send bank statement directly to embassy and issues you a ticket number to upload ( This reliable and easy to verified by VO)

If you generate UBA and WEMA bank statement through banking app it will locked the bank statement and ask you to unlock it with code which normally be 5 or 4 last digit of your bank statement. ( This is very risk if you don't know how to remove the lock and VO didn't decode the pin to unlock the bank statement)

Just be calm; did you take out the money from as suppose to reflect your financial capability from your account? At a point you didn't have the money your statement reflect most likely the reason for this. Attached your reference letter and make such your closing balance match up with the required.

Not yet o. They haven't sent the ready for collection email. Last update is still that the tracking id has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC on Thu Jul 20 2023 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing. I also know that when IRCC finally stamps it, it will be updated on the portal.

I have submitted the documents for my new bank statement (mybankstatement) on my portal. Do I need to inform them that I submitted the documents to clarify the mistakes, or should I wait for their response?

Do you over compress the bank statement file?

I believe you gotten the bank statement from your bank right? If truly you did that means this IRCC are confusing and they don’t even confirm from your bank before they started accusing you wrongly.

Please don’t over compress your documents to extend most of it will lose quality because these people has all sample of our document they take compare, and any different from comparison result to something like this.

Nice insight justmovemglobal, but I think BANK can’t disclose customer balance to anyone including IRCC ? They can only work on the period of the bank statement you submitted.

I submit exactly the same on my portal now. How can the IRCC check the statement? Do I need to contact IRCC to inform them I sent the bank statement again? Thank
