Well said … Anambra have enjoyed good governors Ngige , Obi and Obiano … my best is Obiano…
You didn’t mention the Airport by Obiano
Soludo is still pending… I need for MOU from him, he should press more for the Intra state rail way… that one will be golden

Mbadinuju was an absolute disaster. I think that all those who came after him knew that it was either perform or get thrown out of the state

What palliative measures is Soludo taking in our dear state? I am yet to see or hear about any.

One sad thing about the nature of Nigerians is the ingrained belief that they know everything! Nothing in this world is outside the knowledge of an average Nigerian! Even if he lived his entire life in the village, he would tell you what South Africans eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Their total disdain for research on a topic in order to speak facts is regrettable!

I believe it all starts from the nature of things in Nigeria where people ignorantly speak with audacity, and make false claims without being held accountable for the harm they caused. For instance, you hear quack chemists claim to be pharmacists and medical specialists, thus prescribing that taking rat poison would kill the cancer cells in the human body! You hear native doctors become very rich out of the claim that they have the power to make people disappear and become immune to bullets. Yet, they cannot disappear from kidnappers and are scared of being shot by them that they remain in captivity until the kidnapper's ransom is paid!

It is the same spirit of just opening one's mouth to thoughtlessly speak and make claims to the knowledge they do not possess that has driven this Pastor into making the types of claims about knowing what black americans need or do not need. It is a common shameful practice especially among Nigerians to ALWAYS claim KNOWLEDGE on what they won't even have the decency to research about. What Fela would call "babanla nonsense!

Soludo is doing a fantastic job to rebuild Anambra cities! I hope he does not relent until the final liveable cities are achieved in Anambra.

It has been long overdue to have real urban renewal in Anambra urban centers to make them habitable and beautiful. The whole thing looks unimpressive now, but if Soludo keeps to his promise to sustain these projects until all these roads and projects are achieved, he would have performed a miracle in transforming Anambra cities from their present chaotic, unplanned, & congested nature into well-planned, attractive and progressive cities that generate wealth.

Kudos to Soludo! The Solution!!!

you Anambra people celebrate mediocrity a lot.
Your cities are still far from modern.
No city in southeast is modern, however the best cities in southeast are still Enugu and Anambra.
I know you guys argue a lot, but e no concern me

Oga, You got it right! What happens in Anambra does not and should not be your concern.

Despite the paucity of funds, there is clear evidence that Soludo is trying his best to intervene in nearly all collapsed roads in Anambra state. He even dared to delve into the urban-renewal of Anambra cities and demolish illegally built structures on public drainage channels. It is no small feat in a state like Anambra harboring too many powerful and lawless overlords. Especially if you consider that no serious effort to rebuild internal city roads in Onitsha and Nnewi has happened since 1996 during the burial of Zik. That is more than 27 years ago now!

Yes, videos look unimpressive now because of mud everywhere due to road construction in the rainy season. But you can clearly see that effort is being made to build gutters and therefore make sure that the roads are eventually built to be solid and long-lasting.

God willing, Soludo will build a similar flyover at other nightmarish traffic choke points around the state. Such as Nnobi junction etc. So that the dream of connecting all Anambra cities seamlessly into one mega-metropolis can be realized.

That Afor Nnobi seriously needs a flyover, Soludo should please dualize that road to nnewi, it will open Nnewi as a city it ought to be

If you want livability in Anambra there are two areas you tackle other than just access roads. One is markets and two is transport.

If you can't organize markets you have no business calling yourself government. There is a difference between a village market with a few stalls to the montrosities of Nigerian markets where primitive organization does not scale. How can you have thousands of stalls where thousands of people congregate yet no water supply, no drainage, no toilet facilities, no waste bins, little to no parking, no proper electric system. Are you not concerned about health and spread of water or food borne disease? About congestion, fire hazard, destruction of roads from heavy traffic, filth in gutters?

Are you as a government not concerned about the attraction of markets to criminals? How many markets have proper security patrols?

You see the same thing with transport where every body is a transporter. Untrained drivers, cultists, Indian hemp smokers, criminals take join. Oyibo does not allow everybody to drive commercial vehicles because it's people that you put at risk. Anambra needs to get a hold of the transport sector. There are too many Keke, shuttle buses operating. You don't limit them or force rigorous licensing requirements on them. You don't even know who drives them. They clog all the junctions and constitute a nuisance waiting for passengers because you can't organize simple public buses with routes, stops and scheduling.

Finally, until I see a concerted effort by ansg to rid the state of the nuisance of barrow people sitting in front of markets destroying the business of stalls inside, then they are not serious. Monkey dey work baboon dey chop. Should not be allowed at all. Build markets elsewhere or go rent shops like everyone else.

Why are you talking about yourself in the third person, are you not Nigerian? Anyway, the man is entitled to his opinion, as a constitutional right as an American. He has his views, Godfrey (who is also Igbo-American, with his own YouTube channel) has his views, which are contrary to this guy.

Besides, I'm pretty sure the pastor has a Black American wife, and 3 half-Black American children. So I think that qualifies him to speak on issues that affect his community; as he is a part of the Black American community in America.
