Not forgetting the fact that the sd card might be fake. Those black sd cards can be a pain in the ass sometimes.

Thank God for the SanDisk I got from @Jboixxx since 2018. Still working perfectly. Someone that saw me remove the sd card from my device days ago asked me to sell it to him for twice the amount I got it then.
Hahahaha there's a 32GB Kingston that a friend helped me got from the US in 2014, it's still super fast and efficient till date. I don't know what's wrong with those stuffs anymore, I see complaints everyday.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with those stuffs. It's just people buying substandard products and expecting them to work like the real deal. If one must use sd cards, close eyes and buy original. Those black sd cards with white inks on them are mostly fake.

Thanks for your response. Have you used the device, what's your experience if yes.

I heard the 12pro+ has better camera but my problem is the mtk processor, can't get Gcam on that

As regards gcam, who can confirm that?

Are we still in the redmi note 4x and redmi note 4 era?

Gcam works with camera 2 API or so..

Hello, kindly advise on which of these to get:

Samsung A14 or A04 or Redmi Note 12

I like to play games like COD occasionally.

Thank you

This has happened to me several times when I was using RN7 and few times in my RN10 Pro. How I normally resolved it without formatting is to insert the media card on my Samsung tab, it will no longer shows formatting, then I will play some media (videos), unmount it and insert it on my Redmi device. It work like magic! Mind you I am using original 64GB SanDisk

justBreathe:
Please I'm in a dilemma.

I got a new SD card recently and I out it in my RN10P and was using it smoothly, but everytime I reboot my phone, It always tells me to format the SD card.

It has happened over 3 times now. I looked online on Reddit here https://www.reddit.com/r/Xiaomi/comments/rwln17/redmi_note_10_external_sd_card_problems/ but there's no apt solution to it.

Please help me with a fix.
PS: SD card is in good condition, confirmed via Windows PC analytics

RN10 Pro is higher in spec than RN12. Also RN10 Pro is expensive because they stop manufacturing it, hence rare to find in the market.
SyncForth:
But why is the RN10Pro costlier than RN12,
Any notable differences?

Usage and abuse contribute to issues too, aside the genuineness of the card.

Well I wouldn't know what you would term as an abuse here though, but trust me I've subjected my Kingston to all manner of inhumane treatments. I've pushed it to its very core. But I've never been careless enough to drop it in water or anything liquid. grin

Hello, I am having issues with my Redmi note 12 pro 5G. 6/64 version.
Few days ago, I got update notification for MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

I downloaded the 3.7GB file but during installation, I got a notification of not enough space. I deleted many things to create more space.

When I tried to install it again, I noticed that I needed to download it afresh. I downloaded it afresh. But during installation, I got a notification of "Can't verify the source of this update".

NB: I noticed that anytime I try to download the update, the previous one I downloaded will appear in my downloaded-rom folder. Even after deleting it, once I reboot my phone, it will appear again.

I tried to to install the one appearing in the downloaded-Rom folder by selecting "Choose update package" and selecting the already downloaded one. Then I get the notification "It is not allowed to upgrade to unofficial ROM package"

Is it possible to install the one that is appearing in my folder or is there any way to resolve the issue.

AThe ROM is probably a stable beta. Once they reach the maximum number of beta users it stops others from installing till it is made public

CANDYDADDY:
Now lemme give it to y'all, what you don't know about your phone's reception effect on battery

It is the biggest battery drainer other than Google play services if you're speaking Android.

Just because ur cell tower picture shows 4/5 bars or 5/5 bars doesn't mean ur network is good. U need to know the dbm value of ur signal.

To access that, go to settings, then go to about phone and click on sim settings. U will find dbm there.

50–70 dbm - great signal. Minimal battery drain
.
70–90 dbm- OK signal, moderate battery drain.

90–120- crap signal, high battery drain.

My cell phone signal bar in main screen shows 5/5 bars signifying full strength but when I look at it's dbm , it's giving me a value of 109.

What does this mean? The phone is forking out way more power to give u stable LTE connection compared to 55 dbm for example so 109 dbm this will drink battery like Yeltsin drinks vodka

now check the repercussions of where am I now
How can this be corrected

It's difficult to find a working gcam for mtk devices as compared to snapdragon. I just feel gcam doesn't run smoothly on mtk.
