webm: Well, in my opinion, i think you should still go for the interview since you've already booked and paid for it. Just be honest with them and explain to them that the interview was originaly booked because you had a conference to attend, but that since the date has passed you would like to go for a vacation or you just fill another ds100 form and say you're going for vacation and do your homework (planing your itinerary and accommodation) Best of luck 1 Like |

Onegai: Please we need information on Nigerian visa on arrival or an emergency travel card for baby. We asked an immigration officer and all he replied was to tell us to pay him N265,000 to process visa on arrival and he refused to answer any further questions. |

Hello House, I applied for a USA B1/B2 visa in June Ending. Upon filling out the https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/ to book an appointment, I was informed I will get am email to book an appointment. When I waited for a week, I was worried, I sent an email requesting to know the delay in sending me the link to book an appointment, to which they responded that I will receive an email once my request is approved. Now I am worried because I need to attend a conference in October this year. Anybody in such a situation or have experienced such should please advise me on what to do. |

Onegai:Check the consulate of Atlanta website, I followed all the instructions there and I got my ETC in 2 days. 1) write a consent letter (you & spouse) 2) purchase money order from post office 3) next day return label to be included in the sending package 4)include photocopies of both parent’s passport biodata 5) baby’s copy of birth certificate. This is what I can recall but please go on the website and follow the instructions on there it’s very self explanatory and straightforward. 2 Likes |

Tstunt:I will suggest you keep ringing them or sending emails to them. I got my approval to schedule an appointment for submission in less than 15 minutes, I was surprised because based on what I read on NL I thought it’ll be a forever wait time. |

Onegai: Just like Debiee mentioned below, use ETC pls 265k is too expensive…and use Atlanta consulate too…I think Atlanta and New Jersey are faster than Washington. Send in all that is stated in the website and mail it to Atlanta. I sent in my application from Los Angeles to Atlanta on Friday afternoon using priority mail $10 not priority express $28. The return envelop addressed to myself that I included was also for priority mail $10. I tracked and saw that it was received in Atlanta Monday afternoon and it was back in my doorstep in LA on Thursday afternoon. My guess is that it was processed in less than 24 hrs. So use Atlanta pls. You’d spend roughly $170 in total. If you use FedEx or usps priority mail express, you’d round up everything in 2 days 2 Likes |

Eclectica:Is the Pediatrix group zero balance different from the hospital zero balance? My thoughts would be that, the Pediatrix group is a separate entity from the hospital. They operate independently and the hospital will give its zero balance after hospital has been paid for. For the Pediatrix, the bill usually comes after a month or 2 of delivery and it’s usually less than $600 except you request something special for your baby like ear tests or extra care |

franberry: Nope because no provisions yet to receive payment online. You’d have to make out the money order and mail in the documents. However you can apply in person in Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington. |

Hello Mamas, Looking to connect with 2 expecting mamas who are considering Barbados as an alternative destination for childbirth between October & November 2023 that have their UK visas already. I am exploring a collaborative Do-It-Yourself strategy between us as the Instagram Naija vendor agents offering these services are priced very high upward of $15k without flight tickets, compared to the prices I have investigated myself which can be way less than $10k. I have established contact with a hospital over there, found reasonable priced short let apartments that can be shared but I am still looking to establish links with immigration over there for hassle free entry which is the last hurdle. I am not asking for anything from you, please note you would be making your payments directly yourself to the hospital and other points, I am just seeking companions on the missionary journey as to avoid the exploitation of our dear agencies here in naija ready to shave our heads on our quest for second passports for our kids. Interested? email me at naijabajanmum-2023@yahoo.com so we can talk. Please only 2-3 serious mums needed. Thank you! 2 Likes |

Hello All, I just came across this thread and I need some advice. I have been trying to get a date for US interview and finally got August 24, 2023 after months of searching. I would be 37 weeks gone by then. The Agent I am using has assured me that all things being equal if I get the visa, my passport should be out within 8 working days which means I have to travel immediately I pick up my passport. My questions now is Is it feasible to travel at 38 weeks plus! Are there airlines who can carry a preggie who is that far gone? Fortunately for me, I don’t have a big bump. What are the chances I wouldn’t be sent back at POE. I’d also need recommendations of good hospitals in Houston Texas. |

Hi everyone, I applied for Dropbox last year immediately the ban was lifted. However, I was to come in for physical interview. My visa wasn’t granted. I believe it was cos I had my baby in the USA and I didn’t inform the consulate. The lady kept on repeating, “you had a baby in the USA”. I had no idea until I went in for my interview. Now my next interview date is close and I don’t know if anyone has had a similar experience and what they did differently. Your response will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Ebuncrown: Depending on airline policies, Delta and air france don’t have strict policies on pregnant travelers. Just make sure you get to the airport early so you can get fit to fly from port health because that’s what they will need. Also, receiving passport from consulate after approval shouldn’t be up to 8 days. Got mine after 2 days 1 Like 1 Share |

I flew delta and I didn’t need a fit to fly, delta is pretty relaxed with pregnant women, I don’t know about Airfrance and KLM but these three airlines are all linked. |

FruitfulV:Did you divulge your intentions to have a baby at the point of entry? I know a couple of people who had the same situation but eventually got granted the visa, they didn’t do anything different. Just take your zero balance letters and necessary receipts and be eloquent, hope for the best too. 1 Like |
