Agidipie: You are about to write a cheque with your mouth that your backside can not cash. Socialise on your off days, approach people on the street, super market, bus stop, train, church etc and start up conversation no matter how pointless. If you are the type that likes one or two bottle of bear visit pubs you will meet like minded people to mingle with. I met my first gf here in uni library, second one in super market(offered to help her with her shopping) we got talking and the rest of history. Sometime the prob is fear of rejection or waiting to be approached first. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Gift7428: If you could earn the same salary working in Wales or England, say for a company with offices around the country and the same pay at specific levels, would you still prefer England? My understanding is that the lower costs of living combined with how nice the environment is would make it a very attractive option. Would you agree? 2 Likes 1 Share |

Greetings everyone, I'm a bit curious, does the NHS in England precisely gives work sponsorship to Admin related roles such as medical secretary band 4. Are they anyone here or who knows someone who was given work sponsorship by the NHS for a 'non-clinical' role in England? |

hustla: Yes, that's actually very possible. I don't buy clothes monthly but I know I spend more than that (£200 x 12) yearly on clothes and shoes. I looked at a food delivery app I used some time ago and I discovered I spent roughly £12k on takeaways between Jan 2020 - Dec 2022 alone! |

Abeg, is there anyone here who applied for NG passport since May and has received it? Mine has been in production since forever and the collection date on the slip was 29th June. Is there a sure number to call or a email to carryout a follow up? |

Morning Guys, Please if I want to invite my mother say in the next 6 months. Is it too early to start depositing money in her account ? Though she's a pensioner but just to be on a safe side. And what else do I need to do for those that tried inviting their their parents. |

SamReinvented: Relax and add additional 2months to the date initially indicated collection date. Passport processing is now taking 3-4months. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it, just relax and wait it out. 1 Like |

brine: £2,400 annually on clothing. Some people might be spending more here but don't know. The issue is that many folks don't closely track their expenses and would be in for a shocker if they do. 1 Like |

babajeje123: Just go to your GP, they will probably charge about £80 to register the person, then charge accordingly for subsequent service. Ensure the person is registered as a visitor, not resident. |

OmichaelO: Hmmm... another topic that needs to be visited. I will try and prepare a detailed explanation later, please remind me. If she's a pensioner, why are you depositing money in her account I have applied for pensioners with little money in their account. Equivalent of like £150. As long as they have a sponsor and their regular pension inflow shows, it should be fine. Dumping unexplainable money in her account is one of the quick ways to get her visa denied. 7 Likes 1 Share |
