It's short for total landing cost ,items sold as tlc are kind of cheaper but you'll have to wait till it arrives from overseas..it takes more than the estimated time projected for the item to land 😉 sometimes items gets lost,broken or stolen while in transit...

He did, he sent the front and back pics of the phone. Actually, did not bother to make further research about the phone cause I intend to gift it to my junior sis. I only know that it has 3gb/32gb.

So when I saw the phone, the sides was rough and it looks like what has been repaired, some part of the navigation button was not responding fast and also got a line crack on the screen( although he claim that it was the scren guard, but i didjt bother to confirm because I just didn't like what I saw.

Mind you, he stays at oworo and oworo bus stop was closer to him while I came all the way from Gbagada-New garage side, and all these were done in broad day light at his choosen spot.

Also, I did not make any further bargaining, because we already agreed on 15k before meeting up, if I was really checking for those issues i mentioned earlier just to make him reduce price, i would have asked him to sell lower than the agreed 15k. But I did not and will never do that, because even if I am the seller, once we agree on a price before meeting up, I would never sell lower than the agreed price no matter what.

Lastly, the way he was rushing me to pay and telling me not take time to check and all, made me even more worried about the whole thing. I know all these should not matter for a 15k phone. But the guy's behavior and the way he was already calling me one of the nairaland scammers just because I was checking his phone made me just totally loose interest

Since you are around satellite, you can equally check ojo alaba market. They sell tokunbo machine and new ones there. Buy tokunbo, just my personal advise. If you see the DBL model of brother brand, then you are in serious luck. That model is an old warhorse. If power consumption is not an issue for you, you can equally go with japanese clutch motor. The vendor should be able to switch it to 220volts for you. Thats your goodbye to frequent machine breakdowns, if you are a heavy user

One of the pros of buying from shop vendor is because of testing and some kind of warranty too. because at odogbolu warehouse, its mostly non tested they sell tho at a cheaper price compared to other markets. Use this guide, for the machine head, turn it, if it rolls free, thats cool and equally check for any cranking noise from the gear, if you notice any cranking sound, abort! For the motor, tell the vendor to switch it on for about 15 minutes. Check for a burnt smell. If there is none, then the coil maybe ok. You are most likely going to be scammed on the clutch motor part🤗 one of the ways to identify japanese motor is the likelihood of having 110v and 220v and then a tiny switch knob. God bless

Omo it's the seller who bears the loss but sometimes as a human being you have to compromise hence you have to be patient either to get refunded or wait till he has a similar deal as tlc that's why it's good to roll with the big names here cos if not both of you will be in nairaland customary Court (dispute thread) 😊 for month's as for the price it depends let's say a laptop sells for 300k here in naija you can get a tlc deal of 240k ,250k or 260k a whopping 50k discount but you gotta be patient...na so dem dey run am
