I don't know if you are aware but our ancestors didn't refer to Africa as "Africa" that name is from the Greeks or the Romans. In case you also do not know, our ancestors didn't refer to the slave coast as "slave coast".
Regions get names given to them by those who make the maps, what matters are the countries.
This is a map made by someone who was alive and making maps and visiting our region in 1747. But you who didn't witnesses that period, you believe that by vertu of your DNA, you magically know better.
