You can google sexual health clinics near you. They specifically handle contraception and sex related matters. They are quicker than GP for this.

It's rather too late than early. If you apply today you will probably get a date in November or December and after your Biometric you will need to wait additional 3months or so to get your passport, which means if you apply today and you are lucky you will get the new passport by February or March 2024.

Do you still think it's too early to apply ?

The person would be applying solo to come for tourism/vacation so no mention of sponsor or family or friends. Except of course this would help in anyway

He should request the trial sessions to be treated as a contract and get duly paid for it. He can't be using his hard earned money to transport and work for free. If they know he's knowledgeable, there should be no need for trials.

After the interview, he said the interviewers sounded very impressed and told him that his previous experience makes him over qualified for the trainee position and they would like to fit him into a qualified role with an improved pay. He was asked to come for a 4hrs trial work session to familiarise himself with the work environment and so they can better access his understanding of the job. After the trial session, the director once again reiterated the fact that my friend is very knowledgeable and would consult with the senior staff that accessed him to know the final step. However, he was asked to provide a reference from previous employer.

After providing reference, he recieved a mail from the company requesting additional 4hours trial work session and my friend feels a bit frustrated about the back and forth.

Please any advise for him?

He was applying for trainee and got bumped up. I think he should endure. If it's a really good job, then it's worth it. My opinion.

My job took almost 4 long months from application to Day 1. But working there made it all worth it because it was my dream job. I understand the process can be a lot better but hopefully it pays off.

Is it possible for one to switch visa when the Nigerian passport is expired. I will be going for my Biometrics end of September and my passport expires early October.

I am worried that I won't be able to apply to switch visa if I should gey a COS while my passport is still being renewed.

Any idea pls.

Let your friend go again. Hopefully they will finalise it and he will start work soon. Congrats in advance.

It’s possible pls. Use the one you have that is valid till October for your COS

You don’t need to include the newborns in your visa application unless you’re planning to go to Naija with them.

Hmm if the babies no get visa...., make any of the babies no come get sickness that will require surgery or admissions in the hospital....NHS will send them better bills after discharge.
