Mercy did not necessarily think about her last week nomination because they both serve different purpose here. This pardon me please has helped give her a performative act. That is the chess game Mercy is playing her. So the nomination of Pere here can still be argued as to why she nominated Ceec here, Ceec is strong preventing her from getting stronger is the strategic game she played.
