Someone should help me ask fifa how Vietnam(32), Chinese Taipei(37), and Costa rica(36) are ranked ahead of super falcons HOW🤔 Cos if this 3 are in one group with us no way we are not qualifying

It's simple. They play more matches and are more active than our Super Falcons in the international female football circuit.

USA were nearly out of this world cup.. Portuguese really gave them a tough time

USA played without any conviction. So many naive and average looking players with no quality. This Coach has no game plan, as the players are running around. and just dishing out wayward passes.

Only those not watching the game can reach this conclusion. You mean a goal that came from a school boy error that Nigeria isn't likely to make, and a weak short that Chiamaka Wil save?

What significant thing has England done since then?

This isn't a flex on England they way you're making it seem. The Chinese team is just so bad. They may even eventually beat Nigeria, but it won't be this easy. I still see Nigeria carrying the day. Monday is almost here sha.

Yea. They are not even making any effort defensively. Certainly not a reflection of what will happen against Nigeria.

No matter how you rubbish them, there's a gap in quality between falcons and england. All they need is one moment of magic which in all our games so far we have given but both canada and Ireland couldn't. I don't see England not smashing those in. Hopefully the gods of football are still with us cos this game reminds me of france vs super eagles 2014. They just needed one chance and they buried us. Not because we were not good but because the gap in quality between the eagles and france was massive.

Of course won't dispute the quality part with you, but while that may be an advantage it doesn't necessarily win games. But the game between Spain and Japan showed quality doesn't always matter.

Before today's game, England has scored 2 goals in the competition; one from a penalty and the other was from too much space the Swedish gave them and the sheer brilliance of Lauren James. Nigeria has conceded just 2 goals so far; first was from the mis-kick of Chiamaka and Australia took advantage of us being out of our defensive position. Second was from corner which was made possible by the 13 minutes of added time. We had 14 corner kicks before than and we didn't concede any.

England plays expansive football with a lot of space so it will be easy for us to counter. They'll probably be the team we'll find it easiest to score again if we can seriously work on our transition.

Again, I'm not saying we can't lose. I'm only saying it won't be as easy many are making it seem.

In my opinion, it's a 55-44 chance in England's favour.

Precise how? Did you watch their first 2 game?

Why weren't they "as precise" against Haiti and Denmark?

After Denmark conceded England were mostly outplayed. This China game is far from the true state of things. They are are great team o, but making it sound like we dint have a chance is what I am countering. If they win Nigeria it will probably be by one goal.

I'm also not saying it will be very easy for them actually. I'm just letting you know that england aren't them. Moreover it's not the first time they start slowly

Football sometimes isn't black and white. England didn't play this game cautiously. They were 95% in the second round so they threw caution to the wind. Then they are playing against an inept Chinese team that we will beat comfortable. It's like someone watching the Zambia Costa Rica game and saying Nigeria is in trouble with Zambia. That's my point. Notice yesterday, we played extremely cautiously in the first half. When they got in the dressing room and realized Australia was doing the lord's work, we took the game to the Irish and played less scared. That's football for you.

The knockout phase is anybody's game. If they play this expansive we will punish them. The same English team lost to Australia by 2 goals few weeks to the world cup o.

A goal and two assists in that first half. Lauren James is on FIRE. 🔥

The Falcons can spring a surprise though, same Germany that brush Morocco were humbled by Colombia..
