When we dey watch American feems, the helicopter crash scene dey always look sophisticated. This one be like where them burn dustbin.

I can already see metal scavengers milling round the accident scene Aircraft accidents are especially delicate and police should have done more to secure the perimeter of the crash to protect the integrity of the site because this will most likely involve crash investigation by AIB and FAAN

By now, iron condemn people would have stolen and disappeared with everything.

We will see more of this when flying cars finally hit the markets.

That Helicopter go don reach 30 yrs before we buy am. Though air transportation is the most dangerous form of transportation cos e dey hardly produce survivors.

Air travel is actually the safest form of travel.

Pandemonium broke out at Oba Akran Ikeja area of Lagos State, as yet to be identified helicopter crashed into a building, and burst into flames.


The incident happened adjacent AP Filling Station, and United Bank For Africa, Oba Akran.


According to eyewitness, the incident happened at about 3.30pm.

It was not clear as at press time if the pilots of the chopper survived. It was not also clear if there are other causalities, as rescue operation by first emergency responders is on-going.

Men of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service are being awaited for further emergency operation to salvage the situation.

When I was involved in a car crash many years ago, I hit my head and lost consciousness.

When I came to my senses and crawled out of the wreckage, na for one guy hand I see my Nokia N93i.....immediately I shout "Na my phone be dat!". He quickly gave it up to avoid other guys descending on him.

The ATM card I had on me also got missing! I quickly called my wife to call our friend working in the bank to block it.

Lots of criminals flock accident sites, acting like they're there to help.

So guys, hate to break it to you but that was a light aircraft... NOT a helicopter. It is the type used for training people to become pilots.

In Nigeria there are two major light aircraft flying our skies.
