Each time a plane passes above me, I always look up not because I haven't seen or entered a plane before but let the plane not go and crash on my head.

That is a wrong picture please, this was the one that happened in Opebi Ikeja in 2020 just behind my office then

Normally,when accidents occur whether by road or air or whatever means of transportation,investigations are carried out to ascertain what transpired,who was at fault and ensure that actions are taken to curb future occurrence!
But in this part of the world,we are only interested in covering up the defaulters while ensuring impunity continues unabated!

Things cannot keep crashing in our country. There should be a thorough inquest and the pilots should be grilled for adequate information as to why they crashed a valuable helicopter.

The pilots were brave. Glad they made it out of the wreckage alive. Oba Akran Avenue could have witnessed a bigger disaster if the aircraft had landed on the cars taking people home at closing time in that area being a commercial and residential epicenter.

Even a grassroot regulator as SON has melted and not to talk regulating the use of such big machines where they flout fake certificates of airworthiness and they get permission to operate sharply because they have done the needful (bribe)

so it is better that they used people's house as a landing pad. check the certifications of that machine and see that this accident should not have happened in the first place
