A trillion ways to die in Nigeria,I believe the elevator must have been giving signs of being faulty and it was probably neglected,RIP to the doctor.

RIP to her.. The Lagos state Government will do everything to dead this news and not make it go out.. The elevator will also be fixed overnight, tonight followed by a press release to bamboozle the public..

The family should however, be getting ready to press correct charges.. They will be heavily compensated

That is it. A country where good things don't work aside criminality. That elevator had shown signs of malfunction for months, but trust the management incharge to divert the money meant to maintain and properly manage such facility. Now, someone's life has been taken away abruptly.

What is Lagos state government doing with over N60bn monthly IGR plus federal allocation? That Hospital is an eye saw. They are even owing the doctors.Can you imagine that?

The people responsible for mismanaging the elevator will still go scot-free despite the loss of life, that is the country we found ourselves

So sad, but one of our problem as Nigerian is the thought that everything not functioning only happens in Nigeria.
Things like this do happen even in so called advance countries, was it that there was no blood at all or her blood type is not available.

How does a lift fall?? Honestly our maintenance culture in this country is something else...a lift in a hospital self...is it politicians we want to blame for this one again or inhumane hospital administrators?

Blacks and laziness are like 5 & 6. When you speak of maintenance culture the root cause of its lack is laziness. Blacks are very lazy....you can see the evidence of it all around you.....

But wait, who controls the hospital? is it not the CMD and other nigerians? A doctor who rose to the top and forgot the welfare of other upcoming doctors. Was it that there was no fund to repair the elevator? (as one of the comments suggested that there was complains about the elevator ) No! It was simply mismanagement by a Nigerian.

When people make noise about how good Nigerians are but how bad the government is pulling all of us down, I always laugh.

Nigerians always get the leaders they deserve and only make noise when they are not in the position of management.

From 10th floor. You can imagine the impact. So sad. May her soul rest in peace. May God grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss

She couldn’t be saved in the same hospital she saved lives. The system will surely fail each and everyone of us. Now they have called the Governor. He should come and do what exactly ??


Na only mumu dey get hope for Nigeria.

The governor will do what he does best. Come with his media team. Wear a grieving look. Give the family a couple of millions. Stage a photo op. On to the next condolence visit.

No prosecution, no punishment. Just a pointing governor bereft of the wisdom required to rule an SUG talk less of an entire state
