Initial deposit to school before CAS was £2k, next half £11k is due in October. The POF came from my sponsor (different surname) into my own account.

Do you suggest I make more payment to school for October's due payment and get an updated CAS before submitting application or I should proceed with my existing CAS and pay more later when due

I am going to South Wales too this September. CAS has been issued but school refused to send to me insisting that the country representative would be the one to apply for the visa on my behalf. Is this normal for University of South Wales?

Goodmornung duchess and everyone here. Pls I had my tb test screening with IOM early July and I was asked to carryout a sputum test which I did. But I am tired of waiting on them for the 8- 10 weeks duration for my result. And I have gone for another xray with a different private hospital and my xray was normal which was initially abnormal in iom. The thing is am thinking of booking with Q life in other to carry out and another screening but, I don't know if this will be an issue because I personal feel the approved hospitals for uk screening will all be registering on the same site. So I am confused because I don't want them to raise any issue on it. So please duchess wat do u think and also any one that has been through this and scaled through could suggest to me, I mean if you have encountered this personally and scaled through. Please I am open to suggestions because time isnt on my side my course start date is 18th of Sept. I await your response

1. Will I they assist me to add this document to my application since I did self service?

2. Will they charge me a fee for doing this?

Kindly assist with feed back if you have a practical experience at ikeja Tlc

This is never an issue. Yes or No has no impact on the decision you will get.

Personally, I chose No and I went on to state that I and my family will be using Airbnb for first 2 weeks.

The ukvi knows quite well most post graduate students don't have any accommodation in their schools.

Most people select school address to avoid long talk.

Yes or No won't matter if other documents are on point .

I beg to differ

It's okay to say No to not knowing where to stay

But then you have to be specific, student or private accommodation is very confusing

A cover letter to explain what your accommodation arrangements are will help avoid NSF

If you have explored student accommodation say so, if it's private via air BnB or a hotel then state so


A very detailed ECO will flag this up and ask for more information through NSF

Next half payment is £11k would that be the sum you are paying?

From UKVI point of view, you don't necessarily need to but your next payment due date may be too close to when you resume. You don't want your first week/ month of Uni to be filled with chasing you for your tuition payment.

Based on that you should try to pay more tuition, ask for an updated CAS and submit same plus receipt from your Uni when you go for biometrics

Why is the dependant submitting Bsc certificate?

As a Dependant,the documents you should provide are to show your relationship with the MA.

If you submit your notification of results or Bsc certificate itself,it will be ignored

Last question. I'm staying with a friend in Bristol. The house is not rented and is confirmed 7 mins drive to campus.

I put that as address where I'd be staying, but I noticed from past threads people were asked to put school address. What do you advise?

Na so den dey do for there o unless you buy him to allow you and you have to send all the documents to him and he will verify it before you apply

I have called them on Monday and was informed that they are aware of my application and a decision has not been made. My school said to call tomorrow if I haven't gotten a positive response from them.

Check this > The Visa Expiry date of the person you are joining,
You might have entered the passport expiration date there or another wrong date.
It is the course end date that will be here.

You cannot edit any longer anyway, You still need to start another application.
