Good morning everyone

Please I logged into my children's GCkey yesterday and saw a message that states "your profile has been updated' when I checked further, I discovered that eligibility that was formally "we are reviewing has gone back to your eligibility is in progress"

We submitted their application May 11, 2023.

What could be wrong? Why the backwardness?

Medical passed, biometrics exempted because they are children. We applied for Open Study Permit for them

The application is past processing time.

I'm worried
U have nothing to worry about. Just expect good news soon

Good morning House,
I did my biometrics in Lagos, got PPR and submitted my passport to VFS Lagos office through UPS gbagada Lagos on 20th July and got the 3rd email that it has been sent to Canada office Abuja, since then I have not gotten any other mail from vfs.

Yesterday I got application updated on my gc key portal and I saw documents status added to my portal which was stating my visa documents number, passport number, name and expiry.
Today I got mail from IRCC , I login and saw my letter of introduction.

Considering the above,
Does that mean my passport is ready for collection at Lagos VFS office.
Thanks for your quick response
No it’s not in Lagos yet, it has just been stamped. Just go there on Friday or Monday to pick up your passport
Congrats

It's always advisable to apply from your home country. This strengthens your home ties.

When she gets the study permit, send it to the school, they will most likely give her admission again

Fogun:
Hello Everyone,

Please I need help with a medical appointment.

My sister's application is completed except for her medicals (the previous one expired), She got a notification for a medical request on the IRCC portal as well as an email from Nairobi requesting her medical sheet. Eligibility is completed as well.

Her school informed her that her admission would be cancelled by the 4th of August with no deferral option if she did not submit her study permit approval. The earliest appointment she has with IOM is the 11th of August, She requested an extension with the school and was approved for the 10th of August.

Please advise what she can do, or if there is anyone who has an earlier appointment that can be swapped, please send me a direct message, we are willing to pay.

thank you

This is also something I am worried about. I applied on the 17th and since then it's been showing background check in progress while eligibility hadn't started. My question to those who have gone through the waiting process is; did it take this long for the background check?

I think Birth Certificates should indicate your mother's name and you can explain further in your SOP. Also wait for more contributions from the gurus

Hello guys,
Mail from VFS has dropped this evening that the passport is ready for collection at Lagos VFS.

I plan going tomorrow,
Please what can I do to collect the passport on time?
I don't mind paying if they have premium service for passport collection.

Anyone with helpful hint/update/info

Thanks.
