TMVetcare: Even though lump sum can be explained, and some VOs do accept the explanation, it will be better for you to use the funds to pay your full tuition and open a GIC account for your living expenses. If you do these, no doubts will be raised by any VO as to the availability of funds for your educational and living expenses. The N3.5mm and balance from the N15mm will be used for flight and miscellaneous. 5 Likes |

A friend of mine used an agent to apply for a visitor visa. However there was a fallout with the agent. Now he's interviewing for some sponsored jobs and the chances of getting an offer is very likely. He wants to have access to his portal but it is unlikely the agent will release the details. Can he create a new account and ask IRCC to link it to the old one? If not, what are his options? |

Hi everyone, I'm new here I'm planning to apply for a 1-year postgraduate certificate course in Canada. I heard the post-grad work visa is only for 1 year, and I'm concerned it might not be enough time to stay back in Canada Any tips or experiences to share? Thanks in advance! |

TMVetcare: Your ability to get documentary evidence will determine which of the two options to choose. If you can show that your business can spare the "funds" then you can use that - so you will need invoices, contracts etc to show that your business can raise that money and much more to give you 15m If you can show you have documents to back up the property sales and you can draft a strong SOP to explain the rationale behind the sales and using the funds for studies, then use this option. 1 Like |

Has your eligibility review started? Well your application has obviously passed normal processing time. So it’s not a bad idea to send them a reminder… OboloLily: |

So a mail from vfs just dropped that my daughters Passport has been received from IRCC and its at VAC Abuja. Her status hasnt changed on the passport and i havent yet received any counterfoil. Shouldnt the cojnterfoil drop first? Should i be worried? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 12:46pm On Aug 04, 2023 |
Honeeydrop: Honeeydrop, you do not need to be worried, IRCC will process the counterfoil, do not forget they have many requests they are also treating, once they get to your turn it will be done. If you submitted in Abuja, you can go for pick up now, if it was Lagos wait for another email telling you the PP is in Lagos. Meanwhile, I like your moniker. |
