RISK MANAGEMENT.
A lot of us have other enterprises. Aside tomatoes, some of us here cultivate pepper, watermelon, yam, cucumber etc. I have 1 acre of pepper in addition to my 2 acres of tomatoes of different ages but we don't need to start showing off all our enterprises. Besides, do you think the local seed farmers expend all the resources (staking, time and agro chemicals) we expend on our hybrid tomatoes?
Imagine what is currently happening to the sole cropping tomato farmers up North that are currently ravaged by Tuta absoluta (tomato Ebola). This is the reason many diversify into other enterprises to spread our risks and we don't jump out to declare all our enterprises. A 2plots tomatoes farmer may have 10 acres of cassava elsewhere.

Another friend that doesn't prepare for this weather simply engage More hand,so as to be watering it every evening. Well! tomato worth it,had been it is maize it will have been labour lose or shortage.my observation, manual watering cannot be compare with drip at all, because is still tell on the TOMATO but he said "what can he do?

What's wrong with mop? What variety is this?

I am planting Jarrah Rz F1 in grow bags though it meant for dry season. I learnt if gap is followed, I should get up to 70 fruits of 100g each. Some get more but fertilizers to achieve this are Urea 46:0:0, npk 15:15:15, mop 0:0:60, limestone with a magnesium supplement like Epsom salt. A magnesium fertilizer will be best if available.
