Honeeydrop: The flight costs depends on your travel date, if you are planning to travel between now and September 7th, there is a 90% chance you will pay above N2m, however, Some keys that you can employ to search are 1. Change your device location to another country and try. 2. Use private browsing mode to search. 3. Push your travel date forward. |

Exactly my point.. it’s too early to complain lol. Plus my first refusal, my eligibility didn’t show until a decision was made but it shows for my spouse. So I agree with you that a lot happens in the background that doesn’t reflect on the online status Bobomaigida: 1 Like |

Hello house. A wonderful morning to you all. I want to ask a disturbing question. I got admission into Algoma university and in the conditional offer, I am to pay a huge sum. I related with my agent letting him know I cannot afford that money before the payment deadline because it was more than expected. The school demanded 11500cad as initial deposit and I can only afford 5000cad at the moment due to exchange rate wahala. He said I can go ahead to initiate the payment and he will work on it with the school to get the unconditional offer as they always know what to do. That the major decision lies with the officials issuing visa documents and not mainly the school as you can pay the full fee and still get denied a visa. I am very confused now because I can see the school stated it that the main condition for acceptance is the initial deposit as that is what grants the offer for a place in the school. Please what should I do at this crossroad ? Has anyone been in this kind of situation? How do I go about it please Thanks as I await your response Please help a brother. I need a response to this. |

Emmanuelvictor: This question should be directed to the admission officer, they are the one to help maybe set up a payment plan for you . Before we apply to any school the first thing we do is to check for the deposit requirements and see if is something we can afford before we proceed. Since the school demand that amount as compulsory deposit then you have to pay to get the admission. Though you can still write to the admission officer and explain yourself maybe they might consider but even if they do the time they will give you to pay the rest may not be enough for you to save up the remaining balance for the deposit. So you know the best to do either to proceed pay the deposit or to decline and look for schools that their deposit is within your budget. 1 Like |

Please who can help in admission ro Cambrian college. I try applying to the school and the site is taking me to ocas site. And they are requesting for official transcript. And also all the program am selecting are close even up till January 2025. Any agent that can help in securing admissions. I don't want to rely on NBCC alone because they are already taking long in repling applicant. This is one month now no admission yet I check the fee on Cambrian college on same course I apply to in NBCC is 2k difference. I think I can afford that. |

Hello Nairalanders, I've been a silent reader and follower of this thread and some of the previous ones as well, big thanks to everyone who has taken their time to contribute as there have been some really helpful comments. I have a question and I would appreciate answers and advice. I applied for a study visa for myself and a visitor's visa for my 9 year old on the 16th of June. Biometrics request was received on the 17th of June and completed on 24th of June. On the 21st of July, I received medical exam instructions for myself only and an additional document request (IMM5604-Declaration from non-accompanying parent/guardian for minors immigrating to Canada) for my child. The form has been filled by my husband and I uploaded same with the requested documents. Despite not receiving a medical request for my child, I decided to pay for his medicals as well so that if there's a subsequent request by the IRCC, we would have at least sorted that out. Upon our arrival at IOM for medicals today, I asked two staff and they confirmed my child needed to get his medicals done as well so we did both medicals today. Now here is my question please: Since I received a medical request, I know my medical result would be uploaded directly on the portal by IOM but I am not sure on how to handle my child's medical result. Do I treat it as an upfront medical and upload the medical information sheet via webform or would it be processed/uploaded automatically with mine? I would appreciate answers, thank you all so very much. |

Thanks for your prompt response. The agent before applying assured me that their tuition is low and affordable. I didn't know the school he wanted to apply to. Even till the conditional offer came, he was still telling me the school is cheap that other schools are now expensive. Meanwhile, I think because I have HND , and I use Neco, those made him apply to that school as he says there are not many schools that accept HND and Neco in Canada. So I just weak. But he said I should go ahead and pay the amount available for now. Reason why I am asking is that do schools accept any payment and will issue the unconditional offer hoping that you will pay up the balance or they just withhold what have been paid and expect the balance before issuing the unconditional offer kc6964: |
