gbarebo just said he believes the coupist african countries are trying to reform the 16th century songhai empire. A war with a people who appear to be uniting around a common interest.....Their alliance in the footprint of the ancient songhai empire is not by accident, their fight is also ideological with the memory of Thomas Sankara being evoked. gbarebo oni vivid imagination. 2 Likes 1 Share

Tinubu should enter Niger. It will be a catastrophic mistake, that may escalate to the point that it destroys Nigeria as a state. We are broke, and war needs money. You will be invading them on their land, where the citizens are in support of the coupist. The reason why the US couldn't win against the goat-herding Taliban, or against the communist fighters in the Chinese civil war was because the citizens did not support the US. Mandela brought down the apartheid government that even had nuclear weapons, with poorly equipped guerilla fighters, because the people were fighting on the side of good. I understand that Tinubu is being pressured by Western forces, who allowed him to be president of this enterprise called Nigeria, and he must pay back by doing their dictates such as invading Niger. But the imperialist is far, and Niger is our neighbor, and we will live with them. You don't make enemies out of your neighbor for foreign interest. It's a foolish mistake. Wagner is backing Mali, and since Mali have declared that an attack on Niger will be interpreted as an attack on them, then expect Wagner to enter the war officially. This is not some simple fight against IPOB, but a fight between forces that dealt with Nato-Ukraine, and still dealing with them. They are world-class fighters At the end of the day, you can't force your way into people's hearts with war. If they like the coup government, then leave them, it is their choice. That is what democracy is about. 6 Likes 1 Share |
