Do you like the way Nigeria is?

Forget sentiments and tribe. I’ll clearly vote for Osibanjo than tinubu.

Poor vagabonds.

You are fighting for a minority Arab in Niger to remain president yet you live in a country ruled by a criminal Yoruba man just because a "minority" Igbo man is not seen as being good enough to be president. What do you have to say about that. What's the difference between Coup d'etat and Ballot d'etat. Tinubu has taught Africans that power is not served a la carte.
... and for those of you quoting me and spewing ethnic trash, I'm not igbo. Thanks,
What a perspective!

The difference is the election results are being contested at the court, whereas the Coup is done and nothing can be done to redress the issue outside of direct violence.

Since the blatant rigging by Tinubu and INEC are being contested at the Court, don't you think it is wrong to have sworn in Tinubu?

He who must come to equity must come with clean hands, the world saw the sham and evil perpetrated by Buhari and APC to forcefully install Tinubu on Nigerians who sacrificed alot to vote in a preferred candidate but had their hopes dashed, you don't expect the coup plotters to regard Tinubu and his emissaries because they don't see Tinubu as a dully elected President . Now they are planning on approaching Obasanjo to visit Niger next but i'm too sure Obasanjo will decline sad

Exactly.

Rigging of election is a coup too. Any gofament that enters existence by virtue of rigging through electoral umpire is not democracy, but civilian dictatorship and certainly not a government and should be removed

Exactly. Tinubu carried out civilian coup in Nigeria and wants to go remove military coup plotters in Niger.

We do not have a military rule in Nigeria, so we have every responsibility to ensure that Niger also remain a democratic country that its constitution mandates.

Why do you reason with your partisan mentality?

Even when you are not from Niger? So as long as you don't have a military rule, it is ok to rig election?

They think niger republic is northern part of Nigeria. Point of correction, they are highly regarded in the North.

Impose the sanctions fully and Niger will be crippled.

The illegitimate military dictatorship in Niger must be brought to its knees.

The President from the minority Arab tribe must be allowed to finish his 1st term and then "sacked" from office by denial of a 2nd term in a democratic election.

That is the constitution of Niger Republic.

Nigeria must stand its ground that no illegitimate or military rule will be further entertained in any West African state.

The majority Hausa that are rejoicing and their cousins in Nigeria who are also supporting, would not have done so if it was a minority Arab military leader that toppled the democratic regime of any of the past Hausa Presidents of Niger.

For the 1st time, the minority Niger Arab who are better known for street begging with their children in Nigerian cities, have managed to build a political coalition that allowed them get to national power, then suddenly the Hausa/Fulani/Djerma gang up to quickly push them out of power with the illegitimate military coup that we all know would later handover power back to a civilian government that is certainly going to be Hausa.

Is it that they cannot stomach being out of power for just 5yrs that a presidential term allows?

Or the Niger people only started suffering now that an Arab is in power for barely 2yrs, but did not suffer for the previous 20yrs of Hausa and Fulani rule?

Stop lamenting. Niger is about to be liberated. It must not only be evil all the time. Watch sooner or later Nigeria will be liberated

Oga stop yearning dust! Bury da nonsense sentiments!
...if u're doing well people would see, irrespective of wether the tribe is 1% fraction.

And if I may ask, army shouldn't b Patriots?
How can dey show their patriotism?
I think Army should intervene wen need be to put d country in d right direction. Dey can oust a deadbeat president, and subsequently relinquish power back to d people after a credible re-election. Obasanjo was a patriot. Both a military and a Democrat.

I don't advocate for military rule, but wen it's more fair compared with civilian rule, den it should come to b.

And like u said, da d president is a minority Arab, but den he won an election..., right? Does da not tell u he was voted not just by his tribe but other tribes...?
Tribal sentiments shouldn't come in here plz...

Is it not the decision of the people that made Bazoum the President 2yrs ago for a 5yr tenure?

Is there no constitution that guides how a democratic and legitimate government can be removed from power?

Who made the military the one to decide when a legitimate regime must end and another start?

Dey play o. Even in Nigeria, we know people's rights and last hope of common man are extremely trampled upon and compromised. Please tell that Lady that was stabbed closed to the eye in Lagos while trying to exercise her civic duty. When it favors politicians, it's rights and constitution but when it's the citizens, it's otherwise.

The people of Niger are in support of the coup, afterall, it's not the first time they experiencing anarchy. They were experiencing worse anarchy under a democratic government and they went to the streets to support a coup since the so called Bazoum wasn't ready to alleviate their pains and sufferings when they should they should be protesting against the military even tho disadvantaged. It speaks volume, especially for a radical society like Niger and the ecowas wants to force the very same man back on the people, is that pro people or anti people....
