My mum got me a dozen and I've not made sweet moimoi with it since. I'm planning to dump them and go back to my plastic plates(unsafe) and moimoi leaves(too messy for me).

The moi moi is always not properly cooked. I've tried several ways and the times I get them properly cooked, they are too strong. Is there a special trick to using these plates because I'm already tired of them

After making your paste,.
Don't fill the cups, half is better so it get done fast.

Put enough water in the pot as base that will help the steaming process.
I put my pot on fire on low heat,while I prepare the moi moi base,
I use a very big pot so the steam will go round.

Rub it with some veg oil or margarine before use. It comes off easily
