ibnquasale: When has military coup means milirray invasion? Go and read bro. Stop writing nonsense. So, any military coup anywhere means the countries nearby should invade them? E go clear for una eyes when the west drag Ecowas into another war. U need to understand how the global power work. |

otomatic: If you are against the war make your position known intelligently and not that assertion that English speaking soldiers are fighting in french speaking territory. If you know that ECOWAS nation that will send troops for the war.is mainly made up if both English and French speaking countries you won't assert that. War is more than what you think, you don't even have to speak french even with overwhelming English speakers while invading another rerritythat doesn't speak same language, you can ask US, UK and others who have set this precedence over and over again. I would prefer a diplomatic solution to this crisesnin order to avoid the catastrophic consequences looming by the side..... 1 Like 1 Share |

SpatialKing: Tinubu was not elected to care for Africans or the good people of Niger. He was elected to safeguard Nigeria's security and well being. The data shows that the two countries that have had coups in the sahel have actually witnessed greater Islamic insurgency after the coup. In fact of the three Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, Niger had the best security under a civilian presidency. You are speaking emotional twaddle. Good leaders are not the red cross or boys scout. They take hard decisions. Tinubus oath is to the Nigerian people not to anyone else. A large number of people like you criticised PMB for cozying up to Niger and even building a rail line to Maradi - now another leader has cut the light of coupists sitting on our borders and you are here bleating and bleeding on behalf of the people of Niger ..the same people you despised under PMB. 2 Likes 1 Share

BreconHills: And the people of Nigeria have collectively said they don't want troops sent to Niger... Is that difficult to understand You are still talking rubbish bro So cutting electricity and closing borders will end Islamic insurgency? 😁 So are you confirming Boko Haram and ISWAP are Islamic? What did the civilian president do to fight the insurgency? |

southsouthking: Guy, Tinubu can't invade Niger without the approval of the members State. All they need is those corresponding from the members State senates to be ratified at the ECOWAS parliament and if the parliament resolution is to go for military intervention in Niger, I can tell you, the operation will be coordinating within 3 days and Niger won't last for a month. 1 Like 1 Share |

Minime10:How ? Tinubu is not ECOWAS so you need to inform and educate yourselves PROPERLY Tell us HOW EXACTLY he put a cart before a horse Can you do that in no more than two sentences what action or statement did Tinubu or Nigerian Government has taken that amounts to putting cart before the horse ECOWAS leaders sat down and issued a statement and suddenly it is Tinubu's individual responsibility? Before ECOWAS can take any military action all ECOWAS leaders have to approve it.. NOT TINUBU 1 Like 1 Share |

He has made enough money from subsidy removal and instead of looking for ways of bettering the lot of Nigerians he is seeking approval from the West by going to fight their proxy war in Niger. We are just cursed in this country with very thoughtless and helplessly bad leaders. Of all the issues ailing Nigeria he is carrying Niger's problems like gala. France and the West should go and face Russia in Niger while the false pretender should face the problem's back home. A typical example of removing the beam from your eyes before taking out the spek from another persons eyes. |
