Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 8:32am On Aug 08, 2023 |
talk2me2: Cuz of their perceived protest, some other shareholders or bank directors(i don't know) went to court to postpone the AGM.. Which the protesters insist must hold as their Statutory Right. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by talk2me2: 8:58am On Aug 08, 2023 |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by talk2me2: 9:38am On Aug 08, 2023 |
OBAGADAFFI:Oga fbnh is a viable company those who don't like the policies of the company should go and sell there shares instead of disrupting the business activities of fbn. Or better still vote against the policy during the AGM. 1 Like |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by yMcy56: 9:51am On Aug 08, 2023 |
talk2me2:I don't think it's a protest against Rights Issue but a protest against some plan to distrupt the AGM. All these still boils down to the control issue going on in FBN. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 9:58am On Aug 08, 2023 |
talk2me2: FBNH is not really viable. All these noise is due to the renewed buying interest. You probably don't know the history of FBNH. That bank has been downhill for some years now. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chimex38: 10:16am On Aug 08, 2023 |
talk2me2:U don't still get it. They are protesting cuz they believe that it's because of their varied opinions FirstBank is postponing the AGM.. They believe First Bank assumes they will have the majority in the votes against Right issue as well as influencing new directors on the board... Hence the sudden postponement of AGM.. 1 Like |

I have been looking at this company result with my double lense glasses. What do you all think about it? Though the eps was as a result of the proceeds of sale of assets. But then, their debt to equity ratio is 0.59.

yMcy56:Gsk is not a dead company. The parent company is doing well. They will not pay anything less than #15 .That was why they paid 7.50 for ribena. They are not like nigeria companies that reapoff shareholders .They have a global brand name to maintain 1 Like |
