Yeah right. Genius plan to turn us to Venezuela and Zimbabwe, the only difference is that those countries are on hostile sanctions. We are not. As fuel price increases, naira will continue to crash, salaries will be increased at bare minimum but not commensurate. Sorry to say, but by year end we could be buying fuel at 1k per liter with $1 at ₦1500. (God forbid). We warned about handing a country of 200m people to folks that have wealth without enterprise. Nigerians did not hear. Anyone could increase taxes in a tax ripe state, anyone could be governor, Afterall despite all the increased revenue, the state was still pushed deep in debt. The only gov that showed dexterity and financial skills was Ambode that added no debt during his tenure yet accomplished much. Anyway, we are all in this together. One day we will have sense. |

UnfairLife7:I thought all igbos billionaires and people from other parts of the country are paupers? Why are you scared of buying fuel at 2k per liter? Yes, I'm earning 30k your father paid to me and I don't go about complaining on the internet. If you're unable to get your wife pregnant, you'll blame the government, very typical of an average hate filled and lazy Igbo men. Trying to foist a peter obi fraud that did nothing as governor. You and the other fake internet billionaires will cry and suffer for 8 years |

biina: So sorry, but you have no choice than to respect the will of the majority. I did not see any thing to prove obi is a better leader. He has ruled Anambra before and he was a failure. If obi had won the election, there’s no way he can rule Nigeria. He simply does not have the capacity other than emotional sentiments. I repeat, Obi is not capable to handle Nigeria. He does not have what it takes to handle the multi diverse situation of Nigeria. He is one sided and only one side wanted him. Nigeria will disintegrate under his leadership One policy gone bad is not sufficient to make me regret Tinubu. We still have at least 4 good years to decide and he’s still setting up his cabinet. I am not in a hurry. I repeat so can hear me loud and clear. Obi was a total failure in Anambra, Anambrans dished our several insults and even a thread here on nairaland was dedicated to speak of his failure. He has no achievement other than claiming to be a saint. He cannot handle a multi diverse society like Nigeria. He can only rule the southeast |

vanitybutiwanti:Mugu it is about Nigeria first okay...I am a nationalist and and patriot first before being a Yoruba....do you know how much fuel is in Libya,10 Naira per litre okay,so as an oil producing nation the highest we should be buying fuel is 80/100 Naira per litre but a situation where we buy fuel for close to 1000 per litre because of having to export our crude for refining and bring it back to us at break neck prices is an aberration and unwarranted....any explanation you give is pure nonsense and propaganda 3 Likes 1 Share |

vanitybutiwanti:asslicker At least those Peter Obi people are mile ahead and far better than your brown roof people. Poverty has eaten deep in your people and abokis. IGBOS are known to be business oriented people unlike your ewedu people who either do agbero job, conductor, hawk on the streets with pregnancy and backing another baby at the back. The best of your people work for someone and get paid at the end of the month. Money that doesn't even take them home. Your people and abokis are the reason why Nigeria top poverty and unemployed ladder in the world. Your people are fvcking lazy and good at marrying more than one woman. Obi2saveNigeria:You think he gives a hoot? Someone that in right senses thinks 8k monthly will help any family. Someone that said all you need is cassava, garri, beans and dodo, that said youths should be sent to the army to learn how to cock gun, and what they need is to eat the above stated grains to make them contented. You think it was all a joke? That is his mindset he stated. A person that his kids at 21, 22, 30, despite the glaring poverty in the land can in good conscience buy them 2.1, 25, 11 million dollar houses from unexplained wealth, wealth without factories, bakeries, industries, offices etc. Is that the person that gives a darm? |

Mrtaye:Google the population of Libya and the number of barells of crude oil produced everyday, do the same for Nigeria. It's easy to sit in one corner and postulate on the internet. If you feel fuel should be sold at 100 naira per liter in Nigeria, get a license for a refinery, there is a lot of money to be made. If you can pull it off, you'll be a billionaire in dollars in 5 years. Talk is cheap |

Igbos are these and that are all fallacies that have been allowed too long to last and you guys are beginning to believe that fat lie Mention one segment you don’t see Yorubas dominating The richest people of Forbes list are Hausas and Yorubas The richest African woman is a Yoruba woman Yorubas have the most successful people in Canada US and Uk in tech, medicine and doing very well It is not all about container business, or spare parts Yorubas own the biggest sectors in Africa Talk of betting companies, finance companies, music and entertainment, tech, medicine, media, politics, sports just name it Stop believing bullshits you can’t prove |

UnfairLife7: Continue to deceive your generations. How many Yoruba do you see in your SE where poverty continues to pursue Igbos to the rich SW? Yes,just a handful but poverty stricken Igbos are escaping to the SW in millions because of biting poverty in Igboland. Your people are mostly poverty stricken petty traders who do not have the intelligence of managing massive businesses like the business savvy Yorubas or even being lawyers, doctors, ict practitioners, engineers, professors etc like the Yorubas. The evidence that Yorubas will continually be richer than you Igbos is with the World bank,UNDP,NBS who had consistently over the years affirmed that Yorubas are the richest and most progressive in Nigeria. They are even the richest and most progressive Nigerians abroad. To cap it all,Ibadan city in Yorubaland,is more developed than the entire Igboland SE of Nigeria. Have you seen Americans,Britons fleeing to Nigeria? Why are you fleeing to the SW in millions? Poverty. 1 Like |

UnfairLife7:Emeka, I'm from the SS and you don't see my people flooding everywhere for survival because we're blessed. Proximity to the sea, fertile land, natural resources, minimal or no erosion, all these goodies were bestowed on us by the almighty. You also don't see my people beating their chest and claiming to be billionaires on the internet, you don't see my people being hounded for drug peddling in Asia or south Africa. You claim to be billionaires yet your states are all shiitholes, how many non igbos live in your shiithole state? Even amongst yourself, the average Igbo man is regarded as a fraudster. Go on the different social media platform, the fake billionaires are the ones crying every where over hike in prices, they want the country to burn and contribute little or nothing to our federal coffers, if I was president today, I'll accede to your request to form your own country and a visa will be required to visit other states in Nigeria, within 5 years, I'm very sure that your country will implode and degenerate into protracted war because of your greedy, hate filled, nature. Now get lost, fake billionaires that can't buy fuel at 700 but they claim to be feeding everyone. The same people that come from cursed and barren lands |

The problem with most Nigerians is that they want cheap fuel They want cheap fuel, without thinking about how much it costs to refine that said fuel. And if Nigerians had their way, they would have also demanded that a mudu of rice be sold at N20..to let the poor breathe. We lost 4 refineries, and a lot of supporting infrastructure, in order to maintain the belief that fuel could be cheap. And somehow, telling people that selling stuff at a loss is bad for the health of any business...gets you labelled a government supporter. This is going to be my last comment on Nairaland for a while. I may return in two days, maybe 2 years. But hell, it is difficult discussing with people who believe that everything being cheap is the mark of a good economy. Nothing comes cheap. It's goodnight from me. |

UnfairLife7: You can take that as consolation and get orgasm from that. If your claim is true, that doesn’t represent the entire story. Or you think igbos are not begging to feed too. I guess all igbos are multimillionaires and the rest are suffering Southeast is s the worst hit in terms of multidimensional poverty in the south. Ebonyi is known as the poverty capital of south nigeria. You people keep migrating from southeast daily like refugees runnng to southwest. If southeast were heaven, you won’t run away I have my evidence
