I don't know about other people's taste but that frozen fish that is not smoked or dried is a big turn off in soups for many,the raw fishy smell is simply too much for delicate stomach and senses to handle,dried fish or stockfish is better,frozen horse or mackerel is best left for rice and stews or in a strange twist goes quite well with okra soup
