Good morning house. Please I need advise. I have made my visa application and paid for the visa but I haven't submitted my documents and booked an appointment. However I discovered that instead of University of Bolton I filled Bolton University. Please what could be the implications of this error and what can I do to rectify it.
Thanks.

Hello I have been following your update for 3weeks now, when u mentioned that you got your visa but your 4 dependant are yet to get, thank God duchess as responded to your post, but bro I guess a lot of things were wrong with your application, if u are not using agent u should have asked questions while filling the form and uploading documents, I have not heard of UKVI inviting dependant for interview before, u must have filled something wrong, but thank God they have invited your wife for interview, that is the right time to correct all the wrongs, she should be careful of her words and she should be able to proof that u are her husband. I wish u all the best
quote author=zieraw2005 post=125043352]@Duchess90, Justwise and all the beautiful people here, I greet you all o.

Abeg this one is looking like a different dimension of the UKVI process.

I am the MA and I applied with my whole family, wife, 2 kids with my wife and one kid I had out of wedlock in 2008. Note his mother died yrs ago and prior to that time I have taken sole responsibility of him living under my roof. I paid for all his bills, he just finished Secondary school and sat for last Waec. His waec results are excellent. I got affidavits from him mum's father stating he has been living with me and they know about my intention of taking him along with other of my kids. Cause his mom's death certificate was issued from general hospital here in lagos.
In short I made sure I obtained everything needed for a child under single parent. Note my current wife takes care of all of my kids and pays all the bills through my naira account. I gave her my gtbank app and password with ATM too.

Now I am currently married with 2 more boys aged 1yr 5months, 3yrs and the one I had out of wedlock is 15yrs.

We did biometric on 10th July 2023, on the 18th my passport was ready as the MA.

The rest are still on DMC till this moment I am typing. So I got an email requesting that my wife come for student interview on the 14th being Monday.

My wife is a dependent, what could be the case and what should she be expecting to answer?

I have posted screenshot extracted from the email.
Also I am requested to respond to the email immediately.

Note: during visa application, I didn't know family pictures are needed, I failed to upload it, newspaper change of name I didn't upload too. I have all these here now with me. Should I attach it in the email as I am about to respond to the email for interview?
Receipt of rents paid together is here too. Our Facebook pictures posted since dating time till marriage and now are all there with time stamp.

Please how best should I respond to the email as I want to use this avenue to give them all the information I didn't upload since. Pictures taken in the hospital during birth are also online and chats we had since I was not in Nigeria for upto 2yrs.

I came in last June to apply with them.

Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all.[/quote]

Hello everyone ,

VISA ALERT !

Dependent visa ( wife and son )

I’m the M.A and I already had my visa . I wrote about my sour experience with UKVI and how I was able to navigate a wrongful refusal .

Ok so here’s how we handled my dependents application .

I paid for their visa application and IHS on the 5th of July .

Then I moved bulk funds from our business account to my wife’s account on the 5th .

Getting a date for TB test was tedious but we got 11th of July for them at IOM .

We booked for biometrics to be beyond 28 days after I moved the bulk funds . So biometrics was on the 4th of august .

Paid for priority for both of them .

Documents we tendered :
1. My wife’s statement of account ,
2. My own statement of account showing that we didn’t recycle funds
3. Consent letter for our son to travel with us and that we will be jointly taking care of him
4. Consent letter from my wife to cover my son’s living expenses
5. Consent letter from me to also use funds in my account to cover my son’s living expenses .
6 . Marriage certificate
7. NIN of myself and my wife that has the same house address .
8. TB test certificate
9. All my tuition receipts from the university and telexes from banks .
10. 20 pictures , mostly pictures taken in our sitting room and pictures taken when we were out on car rides and like 5 pictures from our wedding
11. My son’s birth certificate .
12. My wife’s change of name documents ( affidavit , newspaper publication )
13 . Immense prayers cos I later realized that it’s ideal to hold funds for 28 days even before paying for the visa and IHS (but I think what we did was some sort of loophole ) cos think about it , if we had held the funds before the 5th of July but didn’t get biometrics date until 4th of august , we would still Have received NSF to provide an updated statement as the number of days in between would have been too much to ignore , almost 31 days .
14. If you have the money , please pay for premium lounge . My dependent‘a biometrics was at TLS Ikeja , but the crowd there was insane . Their appointment was for 8:30am but they didn’t even know where to start with the queue . While they were still just contemplating on how to join, the officials of TLS started asking if there were any applicants for premium and this was around 7:45 am . It didn’t matter if your
Appointment was for later in the day . I think it had to do with the availability of space in the lounge . They sha entered at about 7:50 and premium lounge makes everything so easy and seamless , coupled with the assisted service . Wetin remain na make them pound yam , cook fresh egusi and hand feed my dependents .
15. Followed proceedings on Nairaland closely to know what to do and what not to do.
16. @duchess90 is a gem and doesn’t even charge for the premium service we enjoy . I still want to know why The person behind the moniker is so dedicated to helping Nigerians japa . Lol.

17. God will crown your efforts and we will all find favor on this journey we all are embarking on . And someday soon , we will return to Nigeria to contribute our own quota to make the country into what we will be proud of . Cos in all honesty, no place like home .

We received the visa within the 5 days as specified for priority service . No NSF

Phonetikkks:
Please if MA is applying for visa at a different time from dependant, because he wants to secure his first before attempting that of his dependant. However MA upon getting visa would wait for dependant to also apply and get her visa too so they could both travel together at the same time to UK. (No recycled funds or anything). What is the correct reply to “is your or will your dependant be travelling with you to the UK” in MA application?

Thanks in advance

Please I need help

The interview should be for MA, I suggest she notifies them she is the dependent, you're supposed to be there incase you're the one they need to interview.

If they choose to interview you both, one after the other... Fine. You both be prepared

Thank you , yes I did notify them and provided details of the MA.

We are supposed to travel today to East but due to this interview I had to abort the trip.

I want to be present for the interview too.

Sincerely bro I really don't know what went wrong.

I read about single parents travelling with there kids and all that is required. I provided all that was required.

I don't know what was filled wrong.

Can I also give the interviewer our Facebook and IG details during the interview to verify that we have lived long starting from my pre-wedding photo shoot to traditional marriage photos and maybe our photo album and even should we take the interview in my sitting room where they can see frames of our family pictures on the wall?

I just need some few advice from everyone with good knowledge about the process.

Thank you

Please guys. I’ve paid my IHS fees yesterday but for reasons beyond my control, I might not even be able to do the visa fees today. Please hope this doesn’t affect anything. Or is there a time validity period for the payments to be made after you’ve started application ?

The answer provided to you is too vague. You need to be guided make you no go receive nsf..Have you been schooled with DMC documents and how they decide on people's visa application?

Marriage certificate and wedding photos is not enough. You will get NSF.

I have been schooled in DMC Documents.

What do you mean by NFS?

How about having a spouse?
Same. Not gonna count against you declare her cos she may have help to render for you in future not declaring her may make that impossible cos immigration will think you are lying but if you have anyone living in the uk illegally never declare them in your application

Hello Gurus in the House Please this Consent Form Part 1,2,3 is it only for the defendants or even the MA has to sign it and upload thanks
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 9 by duchess90(f): 3:23pm On Aug 12, 2023
Hello

The MA should also sign and upload consent 1

If there are joint documents or the MA is relying on a third party document that he/she has to also sign consent 2 and 3 accordingly

Cheers

Hello

You are doing too much now and will get yourselves in trouble

I remember when you first started questioning why your dependant's visa's weren't issued the same time with yours

The ECO leads the interview and will ask what is requested

Also the interview is for your dependant not you, you shouldn't be there

Cheers

Yellow card not required anymore!!!

afrolegend:
I was told yellow card is important to be done most especially on Egypt Air. That if not done or fake, you could be turned back at cairo airport.

Please clarify how true is this.
