If the bank is Gtb, it's possible they debited him and didn't credit you.
Just tell him to check his account balance, there might have been a reversal and he would not notice because it's small money.
Had a bad experience with my Gtb account yesterday.
I got a reversal this morning.

Story...the guy didn't send shimgbain.
He should notice if the money was reversed, and resend it if he really wants to pay. How much dey him account wey him no fit go buy battery immediately his own packed up.
Someone helped him out like that, the least he can do is ensure, (if possible, go out of his way to make sure) the payment has been received. If u ask him for proof of payment now, another story will enter.

@mh53, I don't know how much it is but forget it and move on. Karma doesn't promise and fail.

206 if in good shape will pass unless they have changed, and yes the 307 is a bit bigger but they are not the same price in the market.
Bros, 206 can't pass bolt inspection here in Abuja. I don't know about Lagos. Make that guy no go buy car with his last money, then the car no fit do the work. Unless, he's going for 207.

I initially ignored the request and assumed someone else will help out. 20mins later..i still saw his request online..i decided to check the details and discovered that he was about 12mins away from my location. I decided to go since it was nearby; after driving through bad roads, Running my engine for 20mins plus, The whole process took me at least 30mins after which i gave him my account details for him to do a transfer, he claimed to have been debited . Fast forward to 48hrs afterwards..I haven’t seen one kobo from him. He doesn’t pick my calls or respond to whatsapp messages and keeps on claiming he has been debited. People like this are the type who make others ignore assisting others in times of need. This is the number of the guy..09161870419, i think amos is his name.

I’ve helped a guy jump start his car Monday morning inside juicy surge he requested and told me straight that he’s car won’t start and his in one hotel. He asked how much I shock
The guy called me next day to say thank you

In Bulablu's era of 570+ fuel? It was a request. I honoured my end, the other party didn't. Are you simply trolling for attention or what on this thread? Use your own kindness to 'buy fuel' and get parts when the need arises.

Oh I thought is Lagos, I don't know about Abuja.
The only problem he will face here is riders, because they will be frowning anytime he comes to pick them and his rating will also suffer

I had a very nasty experience some days ago. I went to the airport to drop one of my Ogas and decided to visit a friend who stays in ajao estate. I didn’t want to blow back empty and decided to wait to get a rider to at least pay for my fuel back to the Island. That’s how i turned on my Rida app and saw someone requesting for help to jumpstart his vehicle, I initially ignored the request and assumed someone else will help out. 20mins later..i still saw his request online..i decided to check the details and discovered that he was about 12mins away from my location. I decided to go since it was nearby; after driving through bad roads, Running my engine for 20mins plus, using a powerbank and a jumper cable afterwards..the car refused to start. My battery had to be removed and combined with a powerbank to boost to start his car. The whole process took me at least 30mins after which i gave him my account details for him to do a transfer, he claimed to have been debited . Fast forward to 48hrs afterwards..I haven’t seen one kobo from him. I used the same bank he claimed to have used to make a transfer to my account and it dropped instantly. He doesn’t pick my calls or respond to whatsapp messages and keeps on claiming he has been debited. People like this are the type who make others ignore assisting others in times of need. This is the number of the guy..09161870419, i think amos is his name.

I can imagine how disappointed it is when you don't get pay over services rendered but pls kindly forgot about it, forgive him and move ahead... You're 10x better.

All through my days while I was driving I never collected money from fellow drivers for any services rendered, pls don't get me wrong... I never said collecting money is wrong pls. But do you also know that I've also been in similar situations and I get instant assist immediately I made a request without being charged as well.

Leave the guy karma will catch up on him.

What so ever a man sow
He will reap in no time

Exactly my point.

Karma is god
God is karma.

Mh53 is far far better than him so let him forget about the pain and move on.

I'm not surprised such a person is already reaping the bad he have been doing since, just imagine he couldn't afford to buy a battery for his car or shey him won talk say him no know say he has a bad battery?

Nothing wrong if the OP decides to charge for service rendered. People survive on battery rentage, business is business respect every aggreement.

If you decide to do charity with your business it's up to you.

The guy drive over 20m to rescue him.

Per ltr if fuel is over 5h

Don't catch cruise with everything bro.

I'd say forget it. However, since you saw it as business, that may be difficult hence your displeasure.
I'm also of the opinion that things like this should be done without expecting monetary compensation. If you were expecting to be paid from the get go then it's not an act of kindness or "Help".

on 4 different occasions, I jumpstarted 4 vehicles within 50metres radius. 2 were in Mall parking lots, the others were on the road side...I assisted those ones free of charge because it literally cost me nothing to do so. The two times my battery failed after alternator failures, my so called fellow drivers made sure I paid for their services despite being in the same vicinity.I got pissed in this case because of the distance and terrain I encountered, life goes on either way.

Don't expect kindness in return simply because youre kind to others.

Don't allow the evil people do to change who you truly are, otherwise, you were not truly good.

The reward of kindness is in the life afterwards not here.

If people don't appreciate you for the kindness you rendered keep being kind.
One day a somebody you don't know will pay you back when you needed it the most

That's how the world moves. I'm sure there are times people have been kind to you in some other scenario. These things get paid for somehow, same way the person who repays kindness with scorn will somehow get his somewhere. Just give and comot eye

speaking on helping drivers kick start their vehicles, I saw a request on indrive yesterday and decided to help out because I was 3mins away, only for me to see that the driver put #10,000. so who will pay the commission if indrive decide to misbehave? if as a driver you need help, just put your number in the comment section and hope a nearby driver calls you.

Abeg, how do private car owners sort themselves when they have car trouble or battery issue. I don't look at those kind of requests twice in day time. I don't want to know if u r beside me or in front of me. Sort your car trouble out. If u approach me physically, I will gladly help, but to be putting on app in broad day light that u need battery or spare tyre or spanner is irresponsible behaviour. Ask around, take bike or Keke or bus and go and look for battery charger, then pay for the service.
If u find a driver willing to help u, Don't try to guilt trip him because he is also a driver and may need help tomorrow. I hate that. U put on app that u will pay, someone now comes and u want to use ogboju for the person. Let it be the person telling u don't bother paying.
Except it's at night, I dont think drivers should be doing that.
1. Have a jump start cable in your car incase of emergency. Nobody will be unwilling to help u if they see u have a jumpstart cable.
2. Observe your car closely, batteries don't just packup, it has been giving signs for atleast 3days before it gives up the ghost. Watch out the way ignition starts, the way your car moves or idles, the way your windows are whining, etc
3. Don't charge or run electronics in the car for too long without starting the engine.
4. Fix your battery warning light so u will know the moment battery stops charging.

Yes, we are making money, so stop making a mess of we noble drivers grin Stop the ridicule and give yourselves honor and respect.

Enjoy bro.

Peugeots of that era used automatic gearboxes from ZF of Germany. ZF isn't known for building durable automatic gearboxes for transverse applications (front wheel drive platforms), it's best you go for a 307 with a manual transmission. There's a reason why newer Peugeots now use automatic gearboxes from aisin (Toyota's subsidiary), Even modern front wheel drive based BMWs,Volvos and Minis use aisin transmissions for their automatics.
