It's a request for a two bedroom rented apartment. The request is for btw 7.5kva to 10kva.
For the intended required power, it's electronics ment for a average 2bedroom apartments like a freezer, fridge with maybe dispenser, 2/3 a/c and maybe toilet water heater etc. These are the heavy equipments I can think of

Some are lucky and don't experience this at their location.

Overseas the weather is a very big issue. Here not so much. But if you have PVs, you will pay serious attention to the weather.

Abuja is having as bad as 90% to 94% cloud cover yesterday and today.

Not easy to run full load at this rate of PV generation.

Calabar is worse, because it is in weeks.

Yesterday it eased in the afternoon between 2pm and 4pm. How much can one really generate between those hours?

As for the economy mode the number of batteries is grossly underestimated. you will need at least 16 pcs of 220ah batteries

as for the lithium you will need atleast 17kw to 20kw battery.

you may not need that much back up if the loads wont fly simultaneously.

The number of panels will be seriously increased if you will run the loads simultaneously. To be totally off grid you would need would need a min of 32 400w panels

Go for good panels like Era , Jinko, Original Canadian Solar. You need a good Tier 1 panel and good positioning . Agood inverter is also adviseable .

try to charge them separately, see if there is an improvement but the 10v battery is likely shorted

If you want to buy popular / long life battery you can search for Luminous, Exide, Amaron, Okaya , V-Guard , Microtek , etc.

As you look out for original brands, equally look out for their FAKEs Ooo

The battery is an i-cell GEL Batteries,

Quickly isssolate / seperate the battery with much lower voltage and charge it seperately.
When it fulls, add load seperately to it and watch how quickly it drops. that should give a simple idea if it's bad or not.

what I did was overSize my pannels. That way, my batteryBank charges faster, and most current, during the day, is drawn from the panels.

I sold my Generator first and only generator about 5 or 6 months after buying it

Anyone used the afripower 1.7kva24v inverter, what's the experience like? I use the hybrid 1kva12v version and its served well.

only way, is if grid/gen is on for a few minutes so start the fridge and then you can turn off the gen. best you sell off the inverter and buy a slightly bigger inverter

That 10kw lifepo4 is most likely Felicity, if I'm correct, run from it.
Ask for the brand of panel, don't let anyone sell u sticker Canadian panel. It will b best if u can buy from this thread, most of what's on that list is sold by one member or the other here. U can call the same installer to put it together since his workmanship is fixed already.

this is a big project, not exactly DIY terrain..scroll tru the thread and get contacts of serious people/companies who know their onions, discuss with them..get quotes.. you can also do same for installers outside....etc.
