Much has been written in recent times about the fate of Yorubas in Kwara State. However, I always like to look at the facts. Let's see how Yorubas are faring in Kwara.

a) Only one Minister was nominated from Kwara - Lateef Fagbemi SAN. He is obviously Yoruba

b) The Governor Abdulrazaq Abdulrahman. He is also Yoruba.

c) Two of the three serving Senators are Yoruba


Finally let us look at the commissioners. The list is dominated by Yoruba as can be seen below. Then some people are crying about nothing
Kwara State is dominated by Yoruba politically and it would continue to remain so.
