Sorry I created another Japa thread, the country is not sweet now, One person advice me to learn a skill before travelling, I was thinking auto mechanic, but somebody else said there is no need learning any skills here that when I get there I should enroll in some training institution, get certified before I can even work, While another person said the reason why I should learn from here, is because it is hard to find trainers abroad unlike here and they will charge high even when I find any, So guys living in US, CANADA, Netherlands, Australia(these are the places are most interested in) what is your take on this?

Learn up to three. Welding will come in handy. Truck driving

Learn all you can here. You can upgrade when you get there if need be.

you will still have to do training/certification over there . Imagine you learn plumbing in Nigeria, how will you be able to understand some of the plumbing work for basements, connecting to public water supply , fire sprinklers etc

Learn everything here before going, going there is to advance ur skills. What the hell? Can u pay ur training instructor $10/hr? Do it here then.

See make I tell u something I am a geologist and I went to school here got a master's degree with excess payment for school fees etc.
Ask anybody wain school for America them go tell u watin I dey talk about.
After I graduate, person I know wain relocate here wain be mechanic earns more than I do he makes good pay. Na road side mechanic him be for Nigeria him no go the school na oyinbo men dey come close to am wan learn the guy dey scatter engine put am back most of them oyinbo guys here no fit do am.
