Apparently, I don’t think it’s the soap that’s responsible as i have only bathed her twice since she was born up-till now. I think it is mainly as a result of what i feed her and the fact that she’s indoor much more than being outdoor .

I have maintained a steady routine of giving her multivitamin, cod liver oil and oil booster 3 times a week along side liquid milk and i also apply the cod liver oil on her fur as well and groom her at least once a week by brushing and trimming her fur, that way they grow even and don’t twist.

Also i have been cautious not to feed her regular foods with salt content as that also affect their fur quality and make it shred. I think this is why her fur is looking this great, however attached below is pic of her soap and body spray .

So its been a while and my girl has even gotten bigger, it feels like she’s ever growing and that’s because she eats like a horse .. but i love it .

Its been a great journey so far , i love my girl more with each passing day, she has been a great companion.. looking forward to her completing 1 year .

She is just clocked 7 months but she looks bigger than her age .

I personally have been around lot of dogs especially big breeds. I believe they're the most playful ones when they trust u.

Long time no update everyone .. ,
Well its been a couple of months i last updated my thread on my big baby girl Lucy because of work and busy schedules

I decided to find the time to update the thread because of 2 significant reasons

First my girl clocked 10 months last week and also came into her first heat

It’s been a steady-fast journey so far and i have loved every time i have spent with my girl, unusual for her breed which is synonymous for mischief and destruction my girl has relatively been a well behaved and mannered dog although sometimes that trait of stubbornness do manifest but she hasn’t destroyed any of my properties despite the fact that i basically leave her indoors all the time. She is more of an indoor dog and only go out to play or for toilet time or when we go for a walk .

Whenever we both go for a walk, she steals the attention of everyone who praise her

I do not plan to breed her until her next heat period which would be sometime next year so you can start booking puppies down on request .

So this is my first post on Nairaland despite being a member for quite some time now.
Before i proceed, pardon any grammatical or punctuation errors that might arise as this is my very first thread and i am not much of a writer.
In this light of this, this thread is to showcase my beautiful girl Lucy and take everyone through her growth process. I would try to update the thread as much as i can.

Why did I decide to settle for an Eskimo?
I am and have been a dog lover right from young age, prior to buying my beautiful baby Lucy, I previously had a big baby boerboel named Lucy as well but unfortunately i lost her to the cold hands of death early last year. Chai it really pained me make i no lie

Now back to the question, i decided to settle for an Eskimo because i wanted a dog not so big like my previous baby Lucy (rip) and not so small like an lhasa so an Eskimo was the right choice for me. :

My journey to becoming a new pet owner again started on the 7th of February when i reached out to a kernel in my area to help get me a good breed Eskimo. Before the end of the day, i was already bidding and negotiating for my baby girl which i got for 65k after much negotiations and “abeg” lol
At the time of her purchase, she was just about 3 weeks + old and so small, i was upset with the seller at first because of her size but then i vowed to do all it takes to make her chubby and well groomed and pampered with love.

Hello everyone, i am back again . Thanks to everyone who followed this thread and commented as well . I really appreciate you all and i also want to use this medium to apologize for not updating this thread for quite sometime now. You all know how busy life gets and more especially with the current economy situation. I wouldn’t lie i even forgot about this thread at some point but well thank God for mercies and making me remember this beautiful thread .
Well this update would be kind of short as I can’t obviously put everything that has happened over the span of time from my last update up till now but i would only touch on the most important aspects.
So firstly my girl has been and is still doing well for those on the last comments who inquired about her , its been her usual routine and personality.
Well another thing that happened was i had to get her a boyfriend sometime earlier this year so yeah i got 2 sweet dogs now .. the male is Rex . I had to get him after i crossed her late last year and despite the time and resources invested, she didn’t get pregnant so my vet suggested i get a male who would always be around her as it would make breeding more easier. Well i did as advised and fast forward to middle of the year my girl came on heat again and this time crossing was seamless I wouldn’t lie. Glad i got the male as advised because i only assisted them lock like twice and subsequently they did it even without me knowing. Rex bad boy .
After waiting for 2 months, my girl birthed 6 solid pups last month but lost 1 at birth so 5 survived, 3 males and 2 females. They are 5 weeks now and all doing well . I intend to sell them from the 8th week so they can be fully weaned off mamas milk. So if you are around Lagos and wish to purchase one, kindly notify me and I’ll send one to whoever wants to buy. Don’t worry i am not asking for much only 100k
