Please if you have answer to my question kindly help me I have asked a lot of questions here but I don't get replied anymore. I decided to back of but i think it is not the best option maybe I should keep pushing. I have HND here in naija, but when I am applying, I don't see colleges with pgd( post graduate studies) instead I see advanced diploma. Or diploma to BSC. Please what do I do?. If I apply for advanced diploma with is equivalent to the one I have here don't you think VO might reject my visa. Please anybody in college or anyone who have answer should kindly answer me. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏 |

zubizareta: Yes thats very possible too but taking that kind of chances look risky to me since he/she already differ and a new loa is already issued. Why not send webform and get the visa updated to the new date? |

Getting admission into university is the arduous part of this Canada journey. I have cold-emailed professors according to people's recommended format and in line with professors' research interests. I don tire. I studied Electrical engineering. |

If you are yet to submit ur passport I will advice u travel to Abuja to submit (if u live outside Abuja). U will get ur stamped passport within a week. U will just pay extra I’m 100% sure abt this 1 Like |

Ajoself:What’s your qualifications and what program are you going for? However, don’t relent sending those cold mails and make sure it’s channeled to reflect the interest of the potential Supervisor. I sent over 200 cold mails but got only 5 responses with only 1 finally coming through. Also remember not to rely only on Canada. Try also Australia, Germany, USA (if you have IELTS and GRE) , etc 1 Like |

My husband is trying to book an appointment for his Passport submission but we are finding it difficult to apply online. It's saying no slot for 1 applicant and there is no available date to choose for the submission. We checked till December, no available date. Please who is also experiencing this same issue? |

No need of booking appointment. If you apply in lagos, kindly go to ups office beside VFS office and submit your passport in person. They will get it across to vfs. It cost less than 3k Cadygosh: 1 Like |

Evansvicky512: No one here can give a definitive answer, members here can only advise you on what they think will help you in your application. Since you are applying from a place that is not your country of citizenship, you will need to find strong home ties that will convince the VO that you are coming back to home country after your studies. One of the good things you will have in your favour will be POF, because the Omani Rial is one of the strongest currencies against CAD. |

Greetings to the whole house recently I had my medicals done and the result was Abnormal typed in red ink, the other content of the result was good and a grade A but the only issue stated was this below: Grading: B Grading Client with elevated serum creatinine and EGFR of 76ml/min/1.73m2. No clinical features or past medical history suggestive of renal compromise. Who have any idea if this could be a setback to my application or what could be the possible solution on this ground? Thank each and every one of you for taking your time to share ideas and proffer solution to the Nairaland family. |
